Wow This level of price fixing is ingenious

I have to agree with Vipers previous statements. There are as far as I can see two broad categories of players. Those that kill stuff for the loot and those that flip to amass wealth. Both are perfectly valid ways of playing, and it could be argued that one relies on the other (at least one way). An AH with instant buyouts won't stop either Styles of play, but it will make the current inflation of some items reach very silly heights. Biscos collar is one example that springs to mind. The AH will simply change the meta for those that flip....

Now I think about it changing the meta is what GGG is all about so maybe an AH is incoming :)

For those that just kill stuff, pray that your RNG is good.

Cheers,
Matt
There are 10 types of people. Those that know binary, and those that dont.
Fun thing about price fixing is that there is nothing wrong with it and an auction house will make it even easier.
I've been a market player since I started playing online games and I reached max gold in World of Warcraft when I was 13( 10 years ago) by price fixing very specific crafting items.

I haven't price fixed in PoE because:
> I simply have faster ways to accumulate wealth.
> It's tedious and boring

Just list the item for the current value and everytime someone pms you, you increase the price on it :)
It doesn’t matter what an item is listed for, all that matters is what it actually sells for. Yes, there’s a difference.

Have fun stacking digital currency in a video game. Wow, you have 100 mirrors. Lol. If people put this much time into say flipping bitcoins, you know stuff that actually has real value, they might actually be rich rich and not video game rich. Lol.

I’ll never stop facepalming at a) lots of people actually let greed get to them in a fucking free to play video game just because you can trade stuff, to the point they barter and haggle over a few chaos, b) waste their time trying to analyze scams or trends or “the market”, c) care about this shit as opposed to real matters in the world. Oh but if a guy has 100 mirrors then it’s going to affect my game because I’ll have to pay 8ex for a Xoph’s instead of 5. Lol.

I’m sad this is what humanity has become. You can create a fictional economy that is completely without tangible value and this is what you get. Sigh.
Deliver pain exquisite
