Storm Call is the most visually satisfying build in all of POE

Okay. So ignoring the apparent contradiction of that, you're saying:

a) Most of the game looks like hot garbage (quote 2);
b) Storm call is the exception to this (quote 2);
c) Visual satisfaction is everything (quote 1);

If I'm reading correctly, then you're playing a game where you think most of it looks like shit even though you feel that visual satisfaction is everything and you've stumbled onto the one skill that doesn't look like shit...

I'm sorry, I really am, but there's a pretty clear logical dissonance in all this. Do you play PoE even though it looks like shit because you like the game regardless? In that case, 'visual satisfaction' can't be 'everything', because if it were, you'd be playing a game that is more visually satisfying to you, one that you don't think looks 'like garbage'.

Okay, you didn't specify it was the storm call build there. You simply said 'visual satisfaction is everything', and 'everything' is a big call. You were sloppy with your words. Forgive me for responding to that literally.

So we can amend that list above:

c)visual satisfaction is 'everything' regarding the storm call build. I don't play it for efficiency but because it looks good...even though the rest of the game looks like shit.

Okay! Thank you for clarifying. Eventually. Still seems a strange stance to me to take, to think the rest of the game looks shit but a single spell does not, but eh, that's your opinion and you're entitled to make a thread about it.

I had higher hopes when it was announced. Oddly enough, both Lightning Strike and Lightning Arrow do a better job of portraying lightning bolts from the sky imo. Storm Call lacks the impact and authenticity of lightning striking someone from above. I prefer the Tribal Call effect over base just because I can pretend it's not so much lightning as some weird divine bolt of fire from the sky or...something.

But GGG have long struggled with lightning effects in the game. Look at the lightning weapon effect. It's terrible. Flat-out terrible. I'd say it's the worst weapon effect in the game.

Cyclone + Triple Discharge looks 100 times better.

Especially back in the day before the AOE range nerfs.

Related to this, I always found the look of the Vaal Molten Shell Cyclone BOTW absolutely awesome. The player becomes a living pillar of fire. It's downright biblical.

I'm confused, the youtube video says 75% completed but then on here its 70%..... I don't know anymore...

I had a discharge build well I actually still do on my juggernaut in standard league. I just have not put in the points since the reset, I think discharge looks pretty awesome but storm call with the tribal MTX imo is the best.
