Elder/Shaper Down - Meaning?

I've gone through a few builds and see this as build post:
"Elder/Shaper Down" Does that mean the build can handle doing those maps/mobs (if played, geared correctly, etc), or something else? I ask bc alot of the builds just assume you know what that map mechanic means and omit its explanation. Anyway, thanks for info! Elder and guardians along with shaper are the hardest content that you can possibly do. If a build has that and you follow it than in most cases you will likely down it as well using that guide.

It generally means that whoever created or played the build killed the Elder or Shaper with that character.
Whether or not you will be able to depends on how closely you follow the build, how good gear you manage to acquire, and obviously how good are you at actually playing the game and dealing with the bosses' mechanics. |

Yeah you're right - you gotta play well, equip well, and know the game.
