What builds utilize staff/staves?

So I picked up a 600 damage staff/stave and was wondering what are the best builds to utilize it?

Templar seems to have the most passives about staves.

Yeah Templar definitely seems to be the ideal staff user.

nah, the singular is "stave," plural is "staffs"
Just build an AoF marauder/templar. Can't go wrong as long as you pick up the +100% weapon elemental damage passives. |

I actually only play hardcore exclusively. Anyone have any build ideas for that? I can't really go full glass cannon cause I really dont want to die lol.
