[suggestion] Sextants incorporation into war of the atlas

Your suggestion sounds like an improvement over what we have but I’d rather just see them removed.

I don’t really like to invest currency into mapping...

Excuse me if this comes of rude, but we have trans/allts/augs/alchs/chaos/regals/vaals/chissels to manipulate maps?

You don't use any of those on maps :p??

I think i understand what you mean, but that last sentence gave me a chuckle when maps can literally be manipulated by all the currency we have.

In therms of currency investment towards map, my system closes the gap between going "all-in" and "sparsely using sextants"

It also makes the system a lot more user friendly and intuitive, enabling players to utilize it more freely without feeling like they are doing wrong.(or simply being unaware of it and having no idee why they can't sustain?)

Cheers though.

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
Yeah I use them, I suppose I didn't really express it that well.

I don't mind using transmutes and alchs on maps because they're so abundant that it feels nearly free. When I have to chaos them I cringe. I don't like to chisel because I know I'll run out and have to buy more if I want to sustain them. I really dislike sextants because they're even more expensive and impactful and on top of that they're so fiddly. Your suggestion would help a bit with the latter and also make them usable on fully cleared atlases.

The bottom line is I don't want to have to interrupt my mapping with trades so I can keep mapping. I don't mind trading to sell an item, I don't mind trading to buy an upgrade. Both of these have redeeming characteristics. Selling an item is more money in the currency tab. Buying an item makes my character stronger and sometimes I find an awesome deal. Trading to map, however, has neither of those qualities. Instead it's a continuous hassle that you're forced to undergo just to play the damn game...
