Microtransaction Problem (Payment pending)


Hello,

i bought a Seekers Pack 23.12.2017 and the money was deducted from my Credid Card, but in Account Transactions my Payment was pending and i dont have the Seekers Pack.

Some days later I just saw that the Info with the Payment pending is not in my Account Transaction anymore. But the money is still deducted from my credit card.

No info from the Support for two weeks now (i know X-Mas etc). My hope is, that i can get some help here.

If i have done something wrong pls let me know what to do. If there was a tech problem, pls activate my Seekers Pack i bought, or refund my money.

Any info from the Support would be appreciated. So i can try again, love the game and would like to support, if you let me :)

GGG recently(-ish) changed payment provider. They now use Xsolla instead of Stripe. They made this change as Xsolla support a massive number of different services, so more people in more countries had access to stuff which is popular locally but not necessarily big internationally.

Many customers have reported their financial institution as being far more cautious since the change; some applying additional anti-fraud checks, others declining the payment outright.

From your description it sounds like this is what has taken place;

  • You attempted to spend money, the bank immediately deducted the balance from your account. This is normal - and indeed a necessity. Anti-fraud checks and similar are not instantaneous, so they do this to prevent you spending the same money twice.
  • When Xsolla requested the funds on behalf of GGG, your bank declined. This means that the payment was effectively cancelled, thus reference to it being removed from GGG's website.
  • As it is your bank who have your money, you will need to contact them and ask how long it typically takes them to finish processing declined payments.

Neither GGG nor Xsolla have any influence over funds in your bank's holding account.
