[3.1] Molten Jewel Brightbeak Raider. (All content/mapmods) (Videos up) (Budget version added)

Molten Jewel Brightbeak Raider

Welcome everybody to my little guide
In the following Guide I lead you through my Molten Strike experience
Pls leave feedback below and let me know your further thoughts

Build explanation
So first of all
What is the build about:
We do stack four things that are mechanicaly quite broken:
Attackspeed
Projectile count
Abyss jewels
Molten strike

Quite obviously we need some stacking to escalate with builds alike.
So in the finished version we go for:
10-14 Attacks per second
10-12 Projectiles
10-14 Abyss jewels
And yea... Molten strike

Ancestral Call attackpattern
Spoiler

The attackpattern of Ancestral Call is very important.
As shown in the picture below ancestral call attacks in different ways depending on your attackpattern.
If you attack close to a single enemy and do not attack the enemy itself Ancestral Call will attack the target and you double the amount of balls and this way your damage.

Pro's and Con's
Spoiler

Pro's:
Easy to play
Very fast and smooth level experience
Quick map clear and really good boss damage
No gem or equipment swapping
Has very few Mapmods to avoid (Elemental reflect and no leech)
Every upgrade is noticeable and alot of investment can be made
Great Surviveability due to multiple layers of defence
...

Con's:
Might become insanely expensive soon
Can be very laggy for low spec machines
Random death's to enemys below a rain of balls
Brightbeaks do not look so well, so some MTX for the weapons are required most likely
...

Gear discussion
Spoiler

Current gear
Spoiler

Weapon
Spoiler

The Brightbeak is the weapon of choice. Equip it at level 20 and keep it.
You want high resistance and damage rolls which makes them more costly but still very cheap for an endgame weapon. The Resistances help alot with jewelery gearing.

There are some possible upgrades with shaper shenanigans but Brightbeak is more than enough.
Shaper maces would have less attackspeed but inbuild damage and elemental penetration.
You can build the entire thing around claws or one handed swords but the jewels are 3x-5x as expensive and the weapons have no need to speak of. You might end up crafting your own.

Helmet
Spoiler

The Devotus Devotion is a great "budget" choice for this build and gives good attackspeed and chaos resistance.

The next upgrade is a Lightpoachers with 2 sockets and the MS enchant.
But those are very expensive.

Bodyarmor
Spoiler

The Shroud of the Lightless is pretty much BiS.
You want one with one abyss jewel to still have a 6l setup.
The elemental penetration support is extremely strong on the build, since we do have all damage types and quite low penetration from other sources.
Due to the high amount of abyss jewels it gives alot of life too.
Aside from the fact that the armour is quite expensive the linking is alot easier
because it can not go higher than 5-link. And does not need to.

While we only use murderous eye jewels it will only intimidate.

Gloves
Spoiler

The Tombfist with 2 jewel sockets give a huge amount of damage.

While we only use murderous eye jewels it will give intimidate on hit which is a 10% more damage modifier.
However we can put in one 3stat or a bad 4stat Searching Eye for the 30% slow from maim.

Boots
Spoiler

The current boots are pure resistance fixes.
You are looking for rares with:
Movespeed
Life
Resistances
Strength/Intelligence
Evasion

A possible upgrade is the unique "Darkray Vectors"
with the +1 to Maximum Frenzy Charge corruption.
But you will have to do alot of resistance fixing then
and i would do it as last part of upgrading before the 2nd ring.

Belt
Spoiler

The Darkness Enthroned belt is the best damagebelt possible for the build
Use your best jewels in this belt for the 50% increased effect It is worth to throw a few more Chaos or Exalts into the jewels in this belt.
If you need resistances you can use rare jewels with 2 flat elemental damage counts flat life and a dual resistance or all resistance modifier.

You can look for a rare Stygian Vise with at least 35% WeD and 80+ life and resistances if you need to fix them further.

Rings
Spoiler

The Rings are a great source of resistances, life, flat damage and accuracy.
Accuracy is a quite important stat. If you do not have at least one accuracy ring you will have a lack of hitchance.

As possible upgrade you can either use Opal rings with WeD, life and resistances
A shaper coral/Two-Stone ring with useful stats and "Curses enemys with Poachers Mark on hit" to further increase the surviveability and instaleech.

Amulet
Spoiler

The Amulet fullfills the almost same role as the rings.
The main difference is that you try to get as much Int and Str as possible to get rid of unnessessary nodes on the skilltree.

Jewels
Spoiler

The wildfire jewels are essential boosts to our damage, surviveability and clearspeed.

This watchers eye is incredibly helpful, but not nessessary.
It allows to drop most leech nodes.
In addition we can dish away from an immune to freeze flask and use the Dying sun.

For the rare jewels we take flat life and 3 flat elemental modifiers.
Look for jewels out of this search and take the best you can afford.
http://poe.trade/search/omakemyosigooh
This search is for much more expensive jewels but yields a wider variety
http://poe.trade/search/otenahenonased
This search here is for a wider variety and decent but useable jewels
http://poe.trade/search/ehabebesadubou
You can change the "Count" at the lowest list with the higher values from 0-3 to get better jewels

In addition you can use 1-3 Normal jewels like

These are incredibly expensive but are a great damageboost
as long as you use not more than 3.

Flasks
Spoiler

You will need "Immunity to Bleeding" on at least one flask.
I like to use my Life flask for that.
I prefer the Bubbling Divine Life Flask for the quick burstheal and some overtime heal but each to their own here.

A Stibnite Flask with "Increased Duration" or "Reduced Charges used" paired with "Immunity to Curse" opens a wide variety of mapmods and keeps the curses away in long bossfights and Labruns even.

If you want more damage in the shaper and Uber-Atziri encounter you can swap out tibnite for either one of these 3. You will have a hard time geting onslaught in these fights otherwise.

Atziri's Promise is a straight damage- and surviveabilityboost.
It provides additional chaos damage which is hard to resist and bonus leech.
Additionaly will the increased chaos resistance keep some hard hitting chaos mobs like Chayula away.

Dying Sun provides lots of bonus projectiles and increased area in addition to the "Increased Maximum Fire Resistance".
Due to the overlaping of more projectiles it increases our damage and survivebility through "Life on Hit" by a large amount.

The Taste of Hate is another good defensive flask with some offensive additions.
The "Increased Maximum Cold Resistance" and the "20% of physical damage taken as cold damage during flask effect" provides about 16.2% physical damage reduction.

Gems
Spoiler

Offensive Setups:
Main Attack

Movement Setups
Leap Slam

Portal

Defensive Setups
Autocast Immortal Call

Auras and/or Buffs
With Watcher's Eye:

Without Watcher's Eye:

You can take Anger or Wrath + 1 Herald too. But i like the Colours and MTX of all Heralds

Decide between Protector and Orb of Storm setup.
You will need to change the setup further when you have a Poacher's Mark on hit ring.
Ancestral Protector

Orb of Storm

Ancestral Warchief with the Orb of Storms supports (DOES NOT WORK)
This version gives the elemental weakness bonus and culling strike combined with the more damage multiplier from the warchief. The warchief itself is not that strong and will be not as reliable as the Orb of Storm but I am testing this version atm. (DOES NOT WORK)

Leveling
Spoiler

Leveling with this is quite simple.
You equip your favourite unique leveling gear and are good to go
Grab Molten Strike and Ancestral call
Frostblades is a leveling option too but not nessessary at all
Use Brightbeaks as early as possible
For surviveability I suggest a life gain on hit jewel
Try to get some weaker Abyss Jewels for like level 25+ and use them as early as possible
Grab as many Jewelsockets as possible quickly and rush for The jewelsockets that allow you to use the Wildfire Jewels
Untill you have a Watcher's Eye you will need some more life/manaleech nodes and Vaal Pact
Finish the labyrinth as early as possible and go for:
Way of the Poacher: Norm Lab requires ~900 life 2 Brightbeaks 2 Abyss Jewels
Avatar of the Slaughter: Cruel Lab do as early as comfortable
Rapid Assault: merciless Lab do as early as comfortable
Avatar of the Chase: Uber Lab i did mine with level 75 and ~ 4k hp but do it later if you are not used to it and wait for an easy Izaro fight
I suggest to have about 10 Abyss jewels ready for leveling and some of the required uniques like the body armour and the belt

Q: How do you handle the manacost
A:For mana sustain i used "Spirit Void" the big manaleech node below the slayer.
Duelist i mean ofc.
Later the little mana/lifeleech node should be enough to sustain mana and life together with life gain on hit from either the jewel or the gem.
If nessessary you can use 1 or 2 elreon jewelerys to reduce the mana cost

Q: How do you handle the required intelligence required for the chest.
A: For the beginning you should use one or two of the +30 int nodes paired with some int on rings and some int on the amulet. In the end i would suggest an amulet with like 70+ int. This give much more freedome with your rings and adds a +5% life node to your skilltree.

Q:Which Pantheon do you use
A:Let's keep this in a spoiler:
Spoiler

I personaly use "Soul of the Brine King" as my major Panthoen with "50% reduced effect of chill on you" unlocked. This is important to me since we are immune to freeze but do have nothing for chill.

My mostly used minor Pantheon is "Soul of Ryslatha" with the "60% increased life recovery from flasks used when on low life". The most dislike this pantheon except for lab but i am a huge fan of it. Not only does it gives it like one bonus use in shaperfights and stuff. It aswell increases the life gain from my flask by a huge amount. The interesting part is: When i use my bubbling life flask, it does not only increase the instant part but aswell the over time part. This is because the Pantheon is worded as "flask used when on low life" and not "when on low life" like the most other things effected by being low life.

other good options are: Soul of Yugul
Together with the upgrade "5% reduced cold damage taken if you've been hit recently" it helps against reflect maps and you basicaly can skip looking onto your map mods. Well no leech is noticeable but its a very rare mapmod i think.
However for ele reflect i have to swap in "life gain on hit" for "Elemental damage with attacks" because i reached a damagepoint where reflect aint fun anymore.

Soul of shakari for the poison guardian
and ofc the most other pantheons. These are just the ones that i like to use but pantheons are as i said earlier very up to you and your own preference. Test around and keep the ones you like.

I don't have any questions specifically, was wondering if you could take a peek at my character and give me a quick priority list on what to upgrade next?

Ive taken a look at your charakter.
The start looks quite good.
I would suggest to get brightbeaks with 29/30 or 29/29 res. The phys is quite unimportant.
This will help you with geting other gear pieces very easily.
Get rid of your crit flask if that one still is in use.
I don't see your exact stats but it looks like you miss some accuracy.
Try to aim for 88-91% hitchance.
And when you have the money get the helm enchant on either a 1 socket lightpoacher or devotos. Both are quite equivalent if you have a jewel with attackspeed to replace the devotos attackspeed.

Having a blast leveling this! Only question, how did you deal with the mana regen. I find myself low on mana on longer fights.
