[3.1] Cascade of Fire, A Totem Build

I've been slowly progressing a totem build based on some of the Searing Bond/Shockwave Totem Builds, and 3.1 introduced the components that were missing, so let's get right into it.

This build is cast in 4 stages:

Stage 1
Spoiler

Lead with Searing Bond
Searing Bond -> Increased Burning Damage -> Efficacy, Socket in Consuming Dark.

Cast this as you walk around. Enemies which follow you will die, and anything that comes near you will take intense DPS.

Stage 2
Spoiler

Follow up with Bodyswap Totem
Bodyswap -> Spell Totem -> Efficacy -> Elemental Focus -> Immolation -> Concentrated Effect -> Less Duration, Socketed in Elder helmet.

Searing Bond will probably produce a few corpses even if you cast these spells in rapid succession. The Bodyswap Totem will move the searing bond FURTHER into the pack, and distract enemies which are taunted by it. Most enemies in the initial pack are probably already dead after the first swap, however...

Stage 3
Spoiler

Lay down corpses with Desecrate
Desecrate, Spell Cascade, socketed in boots, along with Leap Slam -> Faster Attacks for those pesky gaps

A single cast will provide us enough corpses that we can either leave these two totems on their own and move on, or continue with the cascade...

Stage 4
Spoiler

Kill all survivors and adjacent packs with Volatile Dead
Volatile Dead -> Concentrated Effect -> Item Rarity -> Innervate -> Culling Strike, Socketed in Carcass Jack

This is where the real fun happens. Most things are taking intense burst and DoT from the totems and are probably ready for culling. Currently with all my items/IIR gem I'm getting 155% IIR from the cull and a standard 97%. Innervate provides shock for tougher enemies and gives added lightning damage on the hit, in case you want to play around with Elemental Equilibrium.

Repeat.

Bosses
Spoiler

Level 25 Scorching Ray
Scorching Ray from Balefire, Efficacy, Elemental Focus, Burning Damage

Since this is a high evasion build, I follow steps 1-4 and then pop Sulfur Flask & Witchfire Brew to apply curse & Blind. I have a backup Stbnite flask in case the battle goes longer than expected, however it usually doesn't. With totems down, I take advantage of the Tukohama minor Pantheon node with the Tashin capture to provide extra life regeneration, which is compounded by the Consecrated Ground and 3% of Maximum Life recovered from any adds (I just do a little wave on any that I see and it's strong enough to wipe them out while maintaining the debuff on the boss). Pop a Desecrate/Volatile when the boss is low, but be warned, that health bar will plummet fast once it gets moving.

Gear
Spoiler

- Balefire (3% life recovered on kill)
- Consuming Dark (30% Fire Conversion to chaos, poison, +Intelligence, +1 to Searing Bond, Increased Fire Damage)
- Carcass Jack
- Witchfire Brew and Stibnite Flasks. Optionally, Blood of the Karui
- Elder Helmet with supporting sockets
- Pure Talent Jewel (15% increased AOE, 5% Penetration, +25 to all attributes)
- Spire of Stone Jewel
- The rest of your gear should focus on evasion, life, res and iir, with a bit of dex.
- Stygan Vise with Hypnotic eye: - Life, Damage Over Time while Dual Wielding, Increased Damage if you've killed recently

Pantheon
Spoiler

Major: Either Brine or Arakaali/Aracnoxia(preferred for most situations due to the regen)
Minor: Tukohama/Tashin
