What is that Gun shot sound?

Ive tried looking this up but cant find anything on it.
Sometimes ill enter an area not even do anything yet and hear something resembling a gun shot. It willl also happen randomely during gameplay. What is this??

hmm like a flamebast explosion noise? I hear a metallic clink clink clink, sounds like a moving mob type of noise a lot, never can figure it out

the metal clinking is your charges ending (frenzy, power, and endurance) figured that out after a long time playing lol.
I've played this game for over 200 hours now but still have no idea what some buff and debuff icons mean or many of the sounds. Where is the manual for this game lol.
I don't know if it sounds like flameblast, but its a short loud bang. I look up at my icons below my health to see if they changed when it happens but they don't, so I don't think its connected to my buffs and debuffs.

I know what you mean, I never could figure this out myself. No clue...

Prophecy proccing maybe ?

I have to admit, I never did prophecies yet. So in my case it was definitely not it. My suspicion was something like running out offering skill or so, but when i checked there was no sound. Maybe somehow related to energy shield? Just wild guessing...

You know that offering skill idea might be right, havent heard the sound while leveling a new freezing pulse build, but at the time of posting i was playing a necromancer. Just wish i had a more clear understanding of which is which. Just have a page here with the sounds on a recording with the description next to it
