Ancestral Bond + Gifts From Above interaction?

I've been following the Pizza Sticks build and was looking at the wiki about Consecrated Ground. I was initially looking for the radius of Consecrated Ground but then sidetracked into reading the stats on Gifts From Above. It looks like half of the mods on the ring would work with or without Ancestral Bond and the other half are kind of questionable if they work for a totem build or not.
Specifically: "Trigger Level 10 Consecrate when you deal a Critical Strike" sounds like it would not trigger from a totem. Can anyone confirm or deny? & "(40-50)% increased Rarity of Items Dropped by Enemies killed with a Critical Strike" this wording has me thinking it probably works with Ancestral Bond. Totems can't trigger things. Rarity should work fine.
