twinned maps?!

How exactly do you get them? I alch hundreds of maps already and have never encountered a twinned?I mean i fought 2 bosses on maps but it doesn't counts as twinned?
/confused according to poe wiki twinned map is a map that contains 2 unique bosses. I am dead sure i fought maps with 2 bosses before but it did counted in achievements. The "Twinned" prefix appears as "Area contains two unique bosses" on a rare item. It is not particularly rare, maybe you are just overlooking it?
Maps which naturally contain two or more bosses (such as Excavation) do not count as twinned by themselves, unless they also have the Twinned prefix. (In which case all bosses of the map will be doubled, and you have to kill all of them to complete the map.) Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Dec 31, 2017, 10:58:41 AM

it seems retardedly rare when you're looking for it. i spend over 120 alts on a map trying to find it one time.

I usually leaved twinned to naturally be completed until I'm down to like 5 maps left to get twinned. Keeps trans, aug, alt time down.
