Increased rarity of items found and farming guide please.

I see a lot of guides on how to build a summoner build, or a ranger build, but I have yet to see an increased rarity of items build and the best places to farm to get rich. I started playing about one to two weeks ago and have only gotten four items worth anything.

I was wondering what some of the best characters to farm with are. How much rarity found should be used without doing it while having survivability and damage output at the same time, and some of the best places to farm are. Whether it be high drops, the easiness of surviving, or the quickness of the runs.

The rich players all play 10+ hrs a day every day (no seriously, strange I know) and have friends who play and group with them farming nonstop. Currency rarely drops, I've never seen an exalted or regal or blessed ever. But yet people have hundreds of them filling stash tabs.

You have to pray u get a valuable unique and sell it for many exalted, then u can gear up for endgame. But otherwise it's hard to get rich, wich is good cuz if it were easier the game would get old fast as everyone would be fully geared in no time. That's what having an auction house does, gets everyone godly much faster.

I'll suggest this tho once u get a set of rarity gear on, aim for highest kill speed time in either act 1 ledge or act 2 fellshrine. Ledge is a straight line so u just go back and forth, just try to be strong enough to kill as fast as possible.

Twilight strand merciless is pretty nice for farming. Straight lined map. Easier than the ledge for level 50~60. Resists not needed. Just go full rarity gears.
Got tons of uniques from that map.

Thanks for the areas. Is there a max rarity increased found or enough to want then switching to offensive defensive gear so you can actually kill stuff with enough, e.g. is it better to have 200 or 100 but more killing power. And what are some good spells or classes for optimal farming?

There are two ways to make "money" in this game and neither require a guide.

1. Equip Rarity gear
2. Kill monsters
3. Sell everything you get to a vendor cause it's all gonna be trash
4. In the event that you get something useable, spam it in trade for a couple weeks and someone might buy it for an alch or even a chaos

or

1. Run maps
2. Get more map, then run them
3. Run even more maps
4. Finally get a level 72+ map collect all the craftable white items
5. Sell these items for GCPs

Both of these involve playing many hours per day.

People see players streaming and wonder how they have 200+ GCP etc, well for one they play 8-10 hours a day, some do it for a living, and all the people watching them love to buy all their trash items so they make far more off drops than normal people.

i'm currently farming the ledge on merciless with lvl58 (lightningwitch).
it's just easy. even though, check your lightningresistence for kuduku, the false god. well, i got pretty low light.resis., but he's a joke. (ranged)
after 1 1/2 - 2 runs you can go to the vendor because your invent. is full... (i just pick up rares, qual. flasks, R-B-G's and currency. and of course 6S and those stuff^^).

got 131% IR (+9% IR, +10% quant. from boots i haven't used yet)

good, useable items are kinda rare, but you'll get some good currency during those runs.
