Playing the buid now myself after I could not seem to get the uniques in Abyss league...got them all now, but had horrible luck in the Flashback event, so could not really buy great stuff.

I took a slightly different approach to the Ascendancy, did not take Pious Path cause I thought it would be unreliable concerning the attack speed buff. Instead, I took Augury of Penitence.
The lack in attack speed I compensated with some "(6-8)% increased attack speed if you've crit recently" rolls on abyss jewels. With those, a Q20 Frenzy and Onslaught, I am at 0.27 attack time. Feels good.

Also, since I could not afford a nice ring with a L22 Herald, I took both Herald of Ice and Thunder as gems. That resulted in a bad Life-Mana ratio, BUT I found a funny way to bypass that potential problem of no mana:



The mana gain after being hit lets me attack easily still. So besides not-optimal effective HP (currently around 6K at L87) it is really nice.

Also chaosed this beauty, but am not sure I need it...might probably sell it


Overall build is quite fun, although I imagine it was even better in Abyss before the helm/projectiles got nerfed.

I see no reason whatsoever to use the Karui Charge amulet, it provides nothing really useful for us. For levelling it's ok, if you have it available then use it, but it's just a mediocre low level option.
