Can't connect to Australian Gateway

Game was working fine when a few hours ago my game froze and i got disconnected, then from then on i was unable to connect to the Australia gateway.

I can manually type "Australia" into the gateway field but i can only get to the loading screen then i get failed to connect to instance and back to login screen.

I am using a wired connection and using Steam to play path of exile.

I can't even connect to the Australian gateway when i test with winMTR:

I've tried restarting my computer and modem but no effect.

You're right, your problem is _EXACTLY_ the same as mine. Can you tell me where abouts you are from and isp? could it be a routing issue just in a certain area?

Optus is my ISP, i'm in Perth, Western Australia. i'm gonna be ringing Optus tomorrow if it's not fixed by the time i wake up, cause apparently this issue is not POE related, i cant connect to league of legends Australian server, some Australian discord servers and some other things hosted in parts of Australia. Must be some sort of routing issue.

optus lied to me. would you happen to live in the scarborough area or nearby there? and yes SAME on all accounts, im just now trying to connect to League oceania to see if that also is cucked (ok with regard to LoL i could get onto the lobby area, was that not fine for you?)

a friend who lives far east of me about 2 hours has no problems whatsoever thats why i thought it may be a local problem just in my area
