Shaped/elder just allows an item to roll from an expanded set of random affixes. Uniques don't roll random affixes. Seems pretty much as intended.

there's a unique item found that has a roll "remove ailments when using a flask if every equipped item are elder items
That could explain a very minor use of that |

" Well I was wondering what was the difference too since im still quite new at poe. But the items that I have found (I've found 3 shaped/elder items) have some very unusual mods. Check out this first one that I found  The 6% increase in intelligence would be quite handy for some, and i dont think you'd get that often. |
