Atlas confusion

So, the old tropical island map (T8) does not unlock the new tropical islands map (T8), and it is also pretty much impossible to search on poe.trade for it because they are the same tier. Furthermore, pathofexile.com/trade doesn't give the option either (it allows to search for The Awakening maps, but that also finds Atlas of Worlds maps - not sure what that is about).
However, completing the old Tropical Island map gave me two (!) completions for my atlas, going from 128/157 to 130/157. I do not know which ones it gave cause I did not look at the messages in the bottom right of the screen and there is no message log. What is up with that? Can we get (as requested before the release) a table which tells us what maps do what? Remove Horticrafting station storage limit. Last bumped on Dec 16, 2017, 11:21:54 PM

You can set poe.trade in live mode search, then you will see when a new map is posted for sale.

" My question exactly. I did a Legacy Tropical Island (Level 8) and instead of unlocking the new Level 8 Topical Island on my map, it unlocked Volcano (Level 4). I've seen several other screwy examples similar to the above using Legacy maps. There appears to be no rhyme or reason whatsoever as to what these maps unlock, no way to know, just a complete crap shoot. |
