Bleed is not dead - Jugg 2h Bleed [3.0]

They said it couldn't be done. They said I was crazy.

Well I proved them.

This is my first guide, and I am relatively new to PoE. Consequently, improvements to this build are not only likely, but guaranteed. Things like flasks, gear, passives, etc., are merely what I landed on, not the most optimal min/max set-up possible. I'd also like to take a moment to voice my displeasure that there are no skills or passives in PoE called "blood bath." Feels like a missed opportunity (maybe rename Crimson Dance?).

Frankly speaking, I have a soft spot for this build, being my first end-game toon and actually getting a tanky, bleed guy off the ground. Ever since I jumped into PoE, I thought it would be interesting to work with Bleed, and it took a while to figure out a good strategy. Most other bleed talk circles around the Duelist, dual wielding, attack speed, blah blah, and that just wasn't what I was going for. At the end of the day, bleed is not an obvious thing to build around for the late game, and so this is my unconventional interpretation of how bleed can be used.

What this build is
Spoiler
This is predominantly a tanky build with bleeding as the primary source of damage for targets with significant amounts of life. Survival is #1 priority and bleeding carries our late game damage against bosses. It's half-serious, half-meme, but it does actually work for most content and feels very safe. Can even do fine with a tight budget as long as corners are cut in the right places.

What this build isn't
Spoiler
Some end game content is questionable at best with this build. Guardians have been killed, Shaper is possible, but insanely hard. If you're looking for a gg, mil+ dps, faceroll build, then this isn't it.

Now let's get this ridiculous party started.

Skills
Spoiler
Heavy Strike is the bread and butter of this build. Going for as high of physical damage as possible. Very simple set-up, 4L while leveling should look like:
Heavy Strike - Melee Splash - Melee Physical Damage - Brutality

6L Heavy Strike:
Heavy Strike - Melee Splash - Melee Physical Damage - Brutality - Ruthless - Faster Attacks

For movement:
Leap Slam - Faster Attacks - Fortify

Those are the biggies, then you just pepper in some Ancestral Protector, Rallying Cry, curses,
and whatever. The world is your oyster. Just remember that we run Blood Magic and Brutality Support,
so no room for the typical Herald of Ash and such.

FAQ - Why Faster Attacks instead of multistrike?? The damage loss from MS hurts a lot. That directly translates to lower bleed, which in late game will be 60%-70% of our damage output. FA lets us get more auto attacks in, which is especially important for Crimson Dance, without sacrificing damage. Requires a bit of a Dex investment, but it's worth.

I'm a big fan of life/life regen while leveling, it all seems to go more smoothly. We will be moving out of those once we have leech up and running. Priority Resolute technique and then everything else is up for debate. Also want to get Weight of the Empire(s) ASAP. For Ascendancy, I'd start with Unflinching for the no-work-involved damage reduction and even extra regen via our passives.

It's worth noting that you can go a very long way without Crimson Dance. That node is only taken to sure up our boss damage, so feel free to put it off until you feel like your boss damage blows. Even with that in mind, the attack speed we pick up is still pretty valuable since we likely won't have 100% bleed chance and our auto-attack damage is a significant chunk of our total DPS.

Gear Reveal
Spoiler
We don't necessarily need high-end stuff like Disfavour or Koam's to get off the ground. For a weapon, just aim for 2h Axe with as high of damage as possible. Budget armor will also work, but Koam's/Brass Dome are what we should target. Priority will always be:
Res caps > Life > Phys damage > Armor > everything else.

Flasks
Spoiler
Plenty of room to play around in this area. Just bear in mind that things like Atziri's Promise/Taste of Hate/etc. will not boost your damage since we run Brutality Support.

Conclusion
Much to my surprise, the first build I took a crack has actually succeeded against most late-game content (though not without A LOT of revisions). I am open to suggestions and feedback as I intend to run with this again in the next league.
