Keybinds settings and/or multiple keybinds?
|
I haven't investigated this much, but I was wondering what people thought about having keybind settings saved to an account rather than to the computer. In my particular situation, another person occasionally uses my PC to play the game and she always has to move her powers around to accommodate my layout. I would eventually like to use some more complicated keybinds (including some extra mousebutton operations), but this would make it even harder for her to adjust.
Another possibility would be to allow us to save/load keybind profiles. Some related thoughts: Could we possible be able to bind 2 different buttons to the same thing operation? For example, I might like to bind potion slot 1 both to keystroke 1 and to a tertiary mouse button. Also, could it be possible to use the mouse wheel to scroll through a chosen, limited set of skills in, say, the middle mouse button slot? |

Moving skills is pretty trivial task, but saved profiles for them wouldn't be terrible.
As to the mouse wheel scrolling, I would imagine that is a design decision based on balance. You can only have so many skills available, like in TQ, Diablo, etc. Console loot filter for POE2 Please!

" True, but gem slots in armor/weapons/etc is already a limiting factor. With the arrival of new skills, such as traps and new minions, I personally would like quicker access to a few more skills (like, not take up 2 slots with zombies and specters). Even with Diablo 2, I could easily keybind 10 skills and access them as quickly as the 7 skills in PoE. I agree that it is a design decision, though. |

Another simple request: Allow ',. to be bindable characters.
I've been using Dvorak for years and switching into QWERTY to be able to, well, QWERT on my skills is a hassle (then switching back if I want to type anything in chat). I'd like to be able to just keep the mappings mostly as they are, and that would be: QWERT -> ',.PY |
