Gem hoarding

Always have a bad habit of hoarding stuff in games. I'm currently sitting on far more gems than I ought to be. Is anyone aware of a list of gems that can't be obtained easily? Ones that don't become available after a specific quest, ones that can only come from drops, etc? I found a list on another site but it was from 2013 and I don't know how accurate it would be now. Thanks in advance for the help from me and my three burdened stash tabs.

All gems except added chaos, enlighten, enhance, empower can be bought from vendors.

Liberate your stash tabs.

these only drop, cannot buy:

added chaos,
all the white gems (especially breach portal),
all the vaal gems (mainly haste),
that block penetration gem that can only be crafted (quite easily),
increased item quantity (no longer drops),
enhance, enlighten, empower

if you want a list of all the gems, wiki has one. I also markdown'd it on pastebin, also sorted by color:

Change "can't" to "can only"... or change "drop" to "be purchased"

Portal and Detonate mines can drop anywhere. I keep all Portal gems as they are pretty rare.
I keep one or two Detonate Mines with quality, but have never tried a miner.

Just keep the Portal gem (I only have 2 of them in 5 years of casual playing) and only save gems with +% quality. All the rest ignore. Same for flasks, only keep the +% quality ones and when you get too many then vendor them at 40% total qty. for a Glassblower's Bauble.
