Update Desecrate / Detonate Dead Trapper to 3.1?

I've been looking over 1.5-2.1 versions of a Sab Trapper setup using Desecrate / Detonate Dead for some wicked fun (although a little slow and somewhat clunky). Unfortunately I haven't been able to find anything even remotely close to 3.0 viability and the upcoming changes to DD's AoE and 2 part damage with fire scaling. Any chance someone could help with a Path of Building tree, gem links, and gear selection? I've got a Fire Nova miner already, so I have some experience playing that type of style and some of it's gear / tree may even carry over.

I know there are current Scorching Ray CwC Deto setups but this sounds like it could be fun (though definitely not meta until 3.1 drops).

Spell Totem > Detonate Dead

Blasphemy > temporal chains > x for second curse?
