Dont get what to do when getting this in the skill tree? Cant use my points , how do I know what the requirements are that is needed?

it means you're trying to get a passive that isn't connected.
everything has to be connected. so if there is a node you want you have to travel to it with previous passives |

But it looks like it is connected. Its just the next empty slot to the ones I just put there

Zoom in as far as you can. Some nodes look connected from further out but zooming in shows you if they aren't.
