You realize that a lot of people have programmable mouses right? My razor mouse has an inbuilt macro function that I use to autolog out. Not everyone uses scripts, ban mouses now?

if your mouse comes with a macro function, it does not automatically include it's within the terms of services to use that macro function in poe.

you can get banned for using a mouse macro the same way as using a autohotkey script which does several server actions at once

That's why I dont play HC anymore.
- Logging out is not a gameplay feature to me and it would be boring to walk back after a reco.
- Even if it's ok gor GGG, there is a huge gap between those who use it and those who don't. And even if it's supid because they can use it, people who don't, might find it unfair.

However it's a single action and it does not read RAM, i'm not even sure it's detectable as a simple hotkey, not even related to poe could achieve it.

Also it doesn't prevent every deaths and doesn't remove the chill, so i guess it's ok.


It's more like a trick exploiting the lack of a delay before deco feature, whitch is not in the game on purpose from GGG. IF it's done on purpose, why not using it...


It's very different for trade macro tho because it's not related to gameplay at all. Even if the global impact might be at least equal between trade and log-out macros (pricefixing with multiple account)one is directly dependant on the gameplay, the other is not.


Since people got used to log-out and since even without macro, anyone would do this and everyone already did this in other games, well I think we can live wth that.

I choose not to use them... but that should remain a choice.

If you want to use them, go right ahead. Just quit complaining about the game being "too easy" if you do.

When GGG will have perfectly stable servers so i dont die to crashes or random disconnects then il stop use macro but until then il keep using them

I absolutely do not use a logout macro.... but that's because I couldn't figure out how to set it up. :(
