Is dual-boxing allowed?

Since game is free and I can create as many accounts as I have unique emails for, can I also dualbox?

My question is specifically about IP limitations, are there any?

Multiboxing is not disallowed. Accounts are free, so there's no reason to believe that people won't be taking full advantage of that.

Please note that 'not disallowed' is not the same as 'encouraged'. It happens, GGG is aware of it, they've taken steps in the past to make it more difficult but are likely of the understanding that it's sort of hard to stop when accounts are free...

I would say the hardest part of it is, if they say you can't multiaccount to farm but you CAN multiaccount to mule, it would be a dagger in the "pay2win" argument over stash tabs.

In order for it to truly not be pay2win players need to be allowed to get as many tabs as players that purchase them can buy. They could say you can't farm with a multiaccount, but isn't that essentially what a mule is doing? Even if to match for recipes.

Really tough situation. Really just need to nerf item drops with player level as well.

People multibox is games like WoW where you have to buy each copy AND pay a monthly fee. F2P is irrelevant. Multiboxing is available to everyone in this game.

If they just remove the drop % for being in a group to that of solo play there is no need to multi-box.

But we know that is not going to happen so until they can give some option's for looting then i think you will see more and more of this then at least you will get your own loot.

Then you will get the FFA people saying its not your loot it's FFA but from what has been posted in the forums imo most people would like some different option to FFA loot.

I personally refuse to group because of the Ping/timer/ranged and not being able to get what has my name on it for the few second's it appears.

That is what i think why people are Multi-boxing/Clienting.

The "FFA" thing is irrelvant. Multiboxers generally are smart enough not to play with other people that would cause a problem for them anyway.

The problelm is it funnels more currency/power into the hands of a single account (in essence) that would not be there otherwise.

Playing the game "normaly" as a solo person is already a disadvantage, this is just one more example.

Not that it is unique to PoE.
