Question about Blink Arrow + Cast on Crit + Enfeeble

I'm not sure if this is working, or working well enough.

Blink Arrow + Cast on Critical Strike + Enfeeble (or any Curse)

The idea is to have my clone (Blink Arrow minion) cast Enfeeble anytime it crits. Currently, my Global Crit chance is 31.43% per the Offence tab of the Character page.

Does the clone actually have the same Crit chance as me or is it something else? Can it trigger the Curse? I was thinking it should be getting a crit about every third shot, but it feels lower than that. I can't find a way to check the stats of the minion though.

I don't see anything which prevents minions from triggering Cast on Crit (it's not a Totem, trap mine, or vaal skill that reserves mana). Blink Arrow is an Attack skill. Maybe only the initial attack can trigger the curse, and not the minion? I'll have to test more, but if that's the case why aren't minions excluded from the skill description?

Not sure as to the exact nature of minions applying curses.

I can, however, tell you that rather than cast on crit why not try using curse on hit? Why even rely on a crit to apply a curse (since it is never 100%)?

Minions use their own Skills, which do have the Cast on Crit modifier but no linked Skills. The initial Hit of Blink Arrow will trigger CoC.
With both Mirror and Blink arrows, the landing/take off explosions are you, but the rest of the skill is minion based. I only know this because nulls inclination can proc the gems if you blink into packs, but it wont do anything if the clone it summons makes the kill

"Curse on Hit" specifically states in the description that, "Minions cannot apply curses this way".

"Cast on Critical" does NOT have the minion exclusion (according to the skill description). The other benefit is that the triggered skill is not limited to just Curses.

Something doesn't seem right though. I suspect that the clone minion isn't applying the Curse, but not sure why. Maybe the minion can't Curse, but it's not shown in the skill description. Can anyone confirm?

I'm getting really confused about how Blink Arrow works.

If I attach a support skill to it, like "Ice Bite" or "Faster Attack", is only the initial attack benefited by Ice Bit, or does the clone minion get supported too? I've always assumed the minion gets supported too, but am starting to question it.

Vipermagi's explanation is the last explanation we got from the game developers before 3.0 added clarity to skill gem descriptions; I would assume it's still valid now.

Ice Bite and Faster Attacks should affect the minion just fine.

Thank you. That explanation is in line with my findings after a couple hours of testing.

It's possible that the clone minion is Cursing on Hit, but if it is, the proc rate is only about 5-8% of the time (i.e. the crit chance of my bow+quiver). Certainly not at 31.43%, my Main Hand crit chance. The term "clone" is very deceiving. The only way to test it is to watch a few hours of video capture in slow motion, collecting a large enough statistical sample size to determine.
