My 3.0 Hybrid experimental approach
Greetings Exiles
I would like to first introduce myself as this is kinda of my first official post of my journey with this character this league. I've had a few of my guild mates and friends I've been playing with to play summoner this league due to my general success and overwhelming surprise of how efficient it felt to play with the character and overall progression of the passive tree. To start the experiment I had the following criteria in mind: -Cap chaos resistance -Efficiently have a self cast setup with scourge terror claw to supplement -Achieve a reliable method of sustain without life flask's As a lvling standpoint I did my skill tree like this: (39 point tree) www.poeurl.com/bBoG (74 point tree) www.poeurl.com/bBoI (92 point tree) www.poeurl.com/bBoK (current tree 111) www.poeurl.com/bBoL From a leveling stand point I did the usual method of grabing fire trap and elemental mace's with +1 fire that i dual wield for srs and fire trap till around lvl 24, when i switched it out to a Reverberation wand and a matua tupuna shield till i reached around lvl 65 when I could start using the scourge terror claw and Victoria's charity shield. Samples of lvling gear used:

If you guys are confused as to why mind over matter was picked and then later dropped was due to the fact that i found it to me a extremely efficient use of a point for lvling while focusing on a hyrbid plan for the passive tree, but in the later lvl's noticed I was having more mana issue's then it was worth so dropped it to the aegis and charity/lycoside combo depending on what i felt that day. The only unique item i used from low lvl to my current state of the character was just a dream fragment's due to giving me a insane amount of cold resistance and quality of life, due to not having to worry about rolling freeze removal flask's this ring is completely optional and is only recommended if you just don't want to worry about freeze/chill period.
Spoiler
The vessel of vinktar only really comes out when I play solo and am in the mode to just melt everything, and the hybrid flask is obviously for no regen maps. I personally drop the warding flask for it since I don't really care if im moving slow from temp chains map. Jewel setup: The goal here was to focus on the most efficient jewel setup with of mix of both survivability and ease of access depending on the specters chosen, due to the mechanic of Unending hunger it seem's to prefer specters that are more close range combat focused then ranged but is still a viable consideration for both form's as we focused on getting general stat's and resistance as well as Minion block on jewels as I personally found to be the most effective stat on a jewel compared to the other 3 stat's offered for minions which is life/resistance/damage.
Spoiler
As for defensive stat's this is what the character finally ended up looking like: Buffed ![]() Unbuffed ![]() For pantheon I completely unlocked Lunaris since I just don't want to die to chained projectiles and also never have to worry about chain mod on maps ever again. Feels great. For shaper I like taking the Soul of solaris and the 3rd unlock so if he does go through my block I can still reduce shapers slam and hopefully not get instant one shot if he get's a lucky critical slam. And for minor god I took Aberrath due to not having a ignite removal flask, and ignoring burning ground so our Es recharge isn't interrupted is also quite nice. Main source of sustain comes in the form of vitality aura and purity of fire (due to my fire resistance being the lowest of all 4 resistance), the vitality is their to combat any poison on hit damage and as well as bleed's and ignite to help reduce the degen that would take place. As well as bone offering healing my hp on block and aegis aurora keeping the Energy shield topped up as well while rumi's is up. With those layer's of defensive I was happy to be relieved to know the character didn't require any life flask's and simply is able to sustain the energy shield pool via block. I can't remember the guide I looked at, but they were the one that inspired me to look into a character that can get capped chaos resistance with a goal of 1k life while holding the wand, which was the recommended setup for midnight bargain at 75% chaos resistance, plz if you read this, can you let me know so I can give you some semblance of credit as that wasn't my intentional goal at first. To conclude the observation of the character: -Successful at capping chaos resistance and is no longer a worry beyond one specific tier 15 map, even then you can just keep moving away from their searing bond chaos damage thing and between the character's natural regen and vitality I'm almost never in danger from chaos damage -Failed to successfully make a skill to work in conjunction with scourge claw, it's great for shield charge and party play in the end the character was setup -Completely succeeded in finding a reliable source of sustain without having to use life flask's Final thought's of the character: I've found that the character has quite alot of option's depending on the objective of the game, if the player want's maximum speed and efficient clear speed They can swap for a bright beak and shield charge combo and replace the chest for a vis mortis to keep 4 specter's. Or the player also has the option of going low life via by victoria's influence chest or going shav's both would be using the prism guardian setup, as well as terror claw or brightbeak for movement base item of choice. As well as going a well crafted 6L energy shield chest or hybrid would also be considered a viable option as well. The following character has been able to complete all of guardian's with some death's of course as all fight's were new to me and mechanically I didn't know what to expect. But once the fight's were learned only main guardian that can be scary is the chimera boss, due to his fight being the most mechanical one out of all three guardians. Let me know if their is anything within here you guy's would like me to clarify or thoroughly write out a better rough draft. P.s. Thank you Leary93 for giving me this hybrid summoner inspiration, this character would not have been made without their useful information about chaos resistance and hp% reservation.
