Maximize Onslaught up time
I have not been lucky with drops thins league.
One of the few nifty ones is : No 5/6 links yet. Without using the Onslaught support gem in my two main attacks, any thoughts or ideas on keeping it going as much as possible? For Char Electron Volts, his weapon come from a guildmate. **Asus TUF x670E Gaming, 7950x3d, AIO Corsair H150i Elite, TridentZ 192GB DDR5 6400, Sapphire 7900XTX, All Samsung 4k: 56"<->Arc2 55"<->48", NVME Sabrent Rocket 2TB, MP600 Pro 8tb, MP700 2 TB. Most people will scream "SILVER FLASK!!1!" at you at the tippiest-top of their lungs.
Me? I hate using flasks to try and guarantee uptime on a given effect. Onslaught is relatively annoying to keep up, usually requiring a specific item or effect combination for anything like proper uptime especially during bosses. The easiest way to splash Onslaught is probably Perseverance - get some Fortify in your build, and whenever you trip your Fortify you also trip Onslaught. Whether that's worth it for Three-Step Assault, which are normally considered pretty garbo boots, is up to you. Onslaught's pretty nice to have either way, and Perseverance is a somewhat underappreciated item that I believe can be had for peanuts. She/Her

I use this on my Raider:
Permanent onslaught, permanent phasing, immunity to elemental ailments. As for the boots, for me it's a toss-up between these two: Currently using Atziri's because there's very little difference in the evasion values, and the extra spell dodge is more valuable to me. It feels odd using a pure armour shield on an evasion/dodge character, but it's working for me so far. |

Thank you.
The shield does look like my best bet. Fortitude is a good buff all by itself. I hope they are not too expensive as I am poor. **Asus TUF x670E Gaming, 7950x3d, AIO Corsair H150i Elite, TridentZ 192GB DDR5 6400, Sapphire 7900XTX, All Samsung 4k: 56"<->Arc2 55"<->48", NVME Sabrent Rocket 2TB, MP600 Pro 8tb, MP700 2 TB. A nice way to get Onslaught passively during mapping is combining it with Culling Strike and then using a trigger attack like Reckoning or Vengeance. Pretty niche, and doesn't work for bosses, but still nice for a few chars.
You can do the same with a CWDT setup, but it needs even more gem slots for a rather mediocre buff. |

I have herald of lightning with an onslaught right now.
It hits good with big groups - not good on most bosses though. **Asus TUF x670E Gaming, 7950x3d, AIO Corsair H150i Elite, TridentZ 192GB DDR5 6400, Sapphire 7900XTX, All Samsung 4k: 56"<->Arc2 55"<->48", NVME Sabrent Rocket 2TB, MP600 Pro 8tb, MP700 2 TB. HDD Seagate 12TB **
