Well you only have two pieces of gear with +life. You want life on almost all if not every piece of gear. There is also no way your resistances are capped. You need +105% of each elemental resistance. These two things are priority #1 while leveling.

Your passive tree is pretty bad. If you don't want to follow a build guide, you should at least study some that are similar.

Ok, Passive tree has been a problem as I am not very good with that.

When you say skill, are you referring to the type of gems I am using in my items?

I will look for a guide for building a character ... didn't know they had any for starting ... This was my first character I created. I have tried to create new ones and play with selecting items on the skill tree but without any idea what I am doing ... I suppose the characters are horribly done.

Ok I imported your character and checked it.

tl;dr

That character is messed up. Dont worry about that, thats normal.
You are supposed to hit the wall at some point.

You could fix it, but that would cost currency.
You could reroll another build, but that would take time.

I´d recommend to reroll and follow a guide, that is saying "Noob, Beginner or Starter friendly".
Ignore all guides, that are bragging with high DPS numbers.

Check some guides, watch videos and try to figure out what playstyle suits you best and go for it.

Yeah, skills are the gems in your gear. It is important to pick the skill you want to use so you can support it properly in your passive tree.

Using a guide is a good idea. If it is a good one, there will be some explanation why they tell you to do things.

If you don't understand, there are some really helpful people on the forums, so don't hesitate to ask.

Most of us created really bad characters on our first attempt. Act seven isn't a bad endpoint on your first try.

Ugh, I will just start over :) and this time follow a guide and see where it goes. That skill tree is hard to navigate unless you have a map ... :)
