Character skill point reset?

Dear Developers.

Im very excited about this game and will definatly support you but I recently hit a brick wall with my first character finding it very difficult to progress with my current build. I did some research and keep hearing about people rerolling several times due to how expensive a Reroll is and how easily people screw up characters.

Now this is kind of intimidating, I myself and im sure alot of others dont want to play through the first few areas multiple times trying to find somthing that works. Its difficult for me to pick up the game again and GW2 respecs are at a VERY affordable 5 silver.

Please make respeccing cheaper or give multiple chances to do so or Impose some sort of penalty such as lost exp for doing it. I really dont want to reroll every time I F my build or pay out of the ass for a respec.

If you are not sure about your build, post it in the forum and people with experience will help you out.

No need for full respec.

yes and now progressing with my RL friend is very difficult. His build is effective mine is not. Im not trying to get them to cater to casual gamers, the Skilltree is already very complex and fascinating but I have OCD and im not good at theory crafting. This makes creating my own build extremely difficult.

Now my Friend will progress to Chapter 2 while I cannot play with him anymore because my character is gimped and He would have to reroll as well with both of us having limited windows to play this game.
The developers currently have no plans to implement a full respec, as they believe it goes against the spirit of the game. If you mess up your build and can't progress, that's part of the learning process, and is intended game design. It encourages you to make new characters, try out new builds and find out what works. Although the forums are a great resource to find out what works best.

One more thing I might add, is that if you're having trouble progressing past Act 2 in Normal, it's not your build that's causing the problem. It's too early in the game for your build to have that significant of an effect on your ability to progress. I'd be willing to bet your build is fine, you just might need better gear or another skill gem to help you out.

If you want to post your build, I'd be happy to offer some advice. Implementing a full respec however, I am opposed to.

You should have picked one of the tried and tested builds if that's the case, at least for your first character. This game is complex the only way to learn it is through screwing up and re-rolling characters and/or reading the forum on what works and what doesn't; either way a good amount of time will need to be 'wasted', to quote what many of those asking for free respec likes to say.

Fristly Guild Wars 2 isn't a h'n's, it is a MMORPG.
Secondly Guild Wars 2 have a different mechanic, and you need to reroll ur traits, to do some dungenos or go WvW(SPvP is other think). ( I'm running thief, his build good in wvw and dungeon but is very poor underwater... and i must reroll it when i need to do water area dungen. I'm Using conditon dmg + Healing power btw.)

So please don't compare GW2 mechanic with PoE or GW1 mechanic with PoE... it is pointless.

Leveling in PoE is very fast ;p, if u have gear is ridiculous fast.

And what bro said just post your build on forum some one will help you for sure.
And still u got some respec opiton avaible :) But in the larger scale (I mean full respec) it will cost a fortune.

Did I understand all wrong, we can full recpec. You just need items for it. So I dont see a problem at all.
Why you should try Harcore http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/209310/page/1
