[3.0] Caustic Tentacles 140/275 MF ALL MODS

This build revolves around the skill Caustic Arrow or with the mtx hentai porn. The neat thing about this skill is it is unlike most bow attack skills because it doesn't scale well with flat damage but rather DoT and Skill level. Now this build is really only tested in maps for pure Currency Farming. The main thing holding it back from being a great all around build is it lacks single target dps but with wither and a 6l trap set up in trade for the kaom's we use it can take down the hardest of bosses

note that this is with a level 19 caustic arrow a level 21 will give us roughly 10k more dps

Caustic Arrow>lvl4 empower>Conc Effect>slower proj>swift afflication> void manipulation
Wither> Spell totem>faster casting>increased duration
Temp Chains>blasphemy>Enhance>increased aoe
Blink arrow>Faster attacks>Flame Golem

Here's where you break out the exalts

First expense is your bow. Stats you need are the +2 socketed bow gems and +1 socketed gems. Other usefull stats are Increased attack speed and crafted % damage over time

This bow can range anywhere from 3ex to 30ex. I luckily got this one for only three exalts
If you are a baller and have the currency buy a bow with "hits inflict decay" very useful for tanky foes


This gem goes so well this the +3 bow and scales Caustic arrow like crazy.
Level 4 empower is preferred but is much more expensive than a level 3 which will do just fine

Helm you don't need anything special just look for life/rarity/res/eva

I like to use koam's for all the juicy life it provides but if you want to get better single target dps and use a 6L Trap or just don't have the money for a koams. to get some more life or to balance out resists
Good MF but I caution using it as your defensives will tank

Gloves you cant go wrong with gripped gloves. They provide one of the few stats that will scale our damage. Projectile Damage. Look for Life/rarity/res/IAS I personally don't think attack speed is all that important for this build but it does smooth things out a bit and keeps us from getting killed in the animation. If you don't need the resistances the unique item Allelopathy provides little defenses but increases our AOE by 10% and our damage by 30% making it a very solid option if you don't mind being squishy

Boots again don't need anything fancy just Life/movespeed/res/stat

For the belt i recommend a heavy belt so we can wear our Kaom's. But another very good alternative would be a biscos leash providing us with more quanity,rarity,cold res, and rampage.
whats not to love?

Best in slot quiver nothing else is worth using except a nice rare will life res maybe even additional arrow but that is completely unnecessary

Here's our other huge expense. Always remember Quantity>rarity. Always.
Biscos get as nice as one as you can afford because it gives the biggest increase in our MF. This one cost me 260c
Ventors gambles I suggest getting these first then top res off with the rest of your gear. Get ones with quanity at least of 8
