Atziri's Acuity + The Baron

Atziri's Acuity: Gain Life and Mana from Leech instantly on Critical Strike
The Baron: Damage dealt by your Zombies is Leeched to you as Life

-> Instant leech when your Zombies crit?

Is this how the interaction would work?
Is there a reason why it wouldn't?

If this works, I see a nice upgrade for my build once I can afford it. Can anyone help and confirm it works or not, before I waste time and mostly orbs on an interaction that happens not to work after all? Searching the wiki/google did not result in any answers.

Reasons why it should work:
- Leech from crits is instantly gained

Reasons why it shouldn't work:
- These crits aren't mine, only the leech.

Im sure it wont work, because minions only benefit from effects that specifically targets "minions" or atleast "allies".
Yes, that's why I'm doubting.

However, the gloves do not need to target my minions.
Not my minions but I am the one benefiting from the gloves since I'm the one leeching. And if the leeching is a result of a crit I should leech instantly according to the gloves, right?

I've tested using Atziri's Acuity on my Baron Mon'tregul zombiemancer and it does make the leech from the Baron apply instantly when a zombie crits.

The way I see it working:
The baron leech from zombies affect you.
Modifiers that affect the way leech is applied to you modify any and all leech affecting you.
Thus, Acuity and Ghost Reaver is able to affect the Baron leech.

Additionally, based on my testing, modifiers that affect the effectiveness of you leech doesn't seem to affect the Baron leech.
That is, modifiers to leech per second and max leech cap don't apply.

Kinda weird imo. I feel like, leech applied to you should be affected by all modifiers on you affecting leech. Would be more simple.

Awesome, thanks for the test Mokihiki!

The outcome of weird mechanics like this can only be tested, glad you could do it!
It's strange that modifiers to leech and leech per second do not apply for this interaction. I had been thinking about max leech cap mods, but settled on just getting higher life for a higher leech cap instead. Seems that does not work either, but I don't mind having high life.

Well, if I ever get some 100 more strength elsewhere on my gear and 40 exalt lying around, I now know how I can improve my survivability to facetank more stuff! My 6 zombies have 35% crit chance and according to PoB 290k dps each, so this will definitely give some nice instant heals!
