Duality? Dual Wield effect on Two handed weapons

Does duality or any other dual wielding nodes on the passive skill tree have effect if I were to use two handed weapons instead of dual wielding two weapons?

Only if the two handed weapon has "Counts as Dual Wield" listed in it's effects.
