Minions and spell damage

So anything that affects spell damage would affect minions since they are a spell?

increased spell damage increases minion damage as well?

Concentrated effect and controlled destruction for minions with aoe too?

Neither passive skills nor stats from the player's equipment affect minions unless they specifically state "Minions _____".

Unless it specifically states that something affects minions, it doesn't. The only exception I can think of is support gems linked to the minion gem.

minions also count as "allies", but not as "party members"

Sorry I'm still confused, so do Concentrated effect and controlled destruction work for minions with aoe too? or not?

Conc effect and controlled destruction and such will effect minions as long as they are applicable. For conc effect, Inc are gems you can literally see this with undying evangelist spectres.

What people always try to make clear, and may caused confusion, is that minions never benefit from your spell or attack damage modifiers on gear or from passives. It has to be their damage aka minion damage, same with defenses and such excluding auras you cast of course.

So in short, has to say minion ____ or be a support gem on the minion and be applicable to that minion type, zombies can use any melee supports as far as I know, spectres all depends on if you are doing melee ranged or spell spectres, skeletons depends on if warriors or using reckoning for mages, etc.
