Poe Trade prices manipulation

Ok, so I know that this thing has been going on like forever.

What I don't understand is why creators of poe.trade wouldn't do anything about that.
I don't believe there's nothing to do about this.

Prices manipulation is a pretty serious thing, especially for new players. The ones who only now learned about poe.trade and don't know how to avoid being scummed.

Here is an example:

So this guy puts two of each on the sale, puts a little bit different prices (5 and 7) so it may seem to someone that prices are in that range, and just ignores everyone who writes him.

And don't get me started on exalts manipulation, that sh*t has been crazy. And yes, I profited of it, cause I knew that it would eventually go up, but how are new players supposed to even suspect it??

I think there are ways to fix this. For example, (and this is one of obvious solutions) everyone who has DND mode enabled don't appear on any trade websites (poe.trade and currency.poe.trade). And scripting this wouldn't be that hard.

We can also have some kind of a registration process for people who want to sell their goods on poe.trade. And yes, it would complicate things a bit, but it would allow us to create some sort of a rating system, and people who trying to scum everyone would just be be displayed below others.

I'm not saying this is a perfect solution, but it is something.

It needs to be done, something, anything. It is possible.

Thank you for reading.

1. Post your price
2. Wait for a minute
3. If you start getting tons of whispers enable DND and change price
4. Repeat of necessary

Did something similar with one of these staffs, put it at 11c first, got bombarded then switched to 13 and sold it 10 minutes later. Easy

Thank you, but I know all that. I'm not the victim in here. But if I would be a new player - possible.
How are new players supposed to know this stuff?
They will be just happy to sell it.

And it is only a solution to items problem, what about exalts? It costed 25 chaoses couple of weeks ago.

You don't need an illuminati group of price fixers for the league ratio to approach the standard league ratio near the end of a league.

Its always been like this, exalts go up, chaos go down, fusing for chaos goes below 2x1 when it was 2.5x1 before, etc
I know free market can be annoying. However, I like the idea of having people with DND mode on not to appear or appear as offline.. It is annyoing when you look for items for quite some time, to find the right resis etc. and the guys are online but have DND mode on. Then why list them up in the first place?

A check if DND is on by poe.trade would be a good improvement.

Pretty sure that info is not provided by the API which makes it impossible for poe.trade to check that, can only check for being flagged online/offline.

Then may GGG can implement this some time in the future to the API? I really like the idea of not seeing such results. Would speed up the process of finding and getting the right items..

I like how you used an example that is only a 2c difference (like really do 1 map and done there is 2c) like it's the end of the world posting pictures and shit, truly hilarious.

You clearly didn't read the whole thing thoroughly. Both listings from one guy, the next one in list is like 11-13 chaos. That could actually be bought. And I also said that I'm not the victim here, I was just checking prices.

Please don't act like a child trying to insult me, thanks.
