An End to Hunger: Kill Kitava ... if only

Well, I will try to be calm when typing this. I have been playing the Xbox One version of PoE and I have been really enjoying it so far. I have a Necromancer, Deadeye, and Berserker. So far, I have had some struggles along the way with the game crashing when I go through portals or to another zone. Not that troubling. To start off I have completed all acts on my Necro with no problems, my Berserker is on act 6 and just walking through it, and my Deadeye just “finished” act 10. By finish I mean I completed it but didn’t receive credit. This is my trouble:

Kitava hits me like a truck hitting a fly. His spawns for his heralds are almost instant requiring more time spent on them than the boss. When his heart comes out it is like there are some skeleton bunnies going at it inside the damn thing because it is an ENDLESS horde of creatures that will one shot me if I stand still. Oh, and don’t forget the heralds still keep spawning. I mean we are talking about a small ass arena with about 90 monsters attacking my Deadeye. Now, to get to the worst part… I teleported to base to switch some skills to see if it increased my damage. I went back and I was kicked from the game. By this point I had Kitava at half health. This then led me having to walk my sorry ass through two zones just to get back to the boss and start all over again. I would say I died about 40 times roughly because I would walk in the door and have the entire map leap, shoot, and swing at me at once and have no way to dodge it. However, I stayed at it until the end. Then after about an hour and a half of brutal work I killed him, but the game had other ideas. Instead of giving me credit it says I didn’t kill him. It let me pick up the loot and everything, but apparently, I didn’t kill him. So now I’m stuck at level 66 on chapter 10 and I will never retry this because I don’t feel like it wasting my time again.

Before someone comments something about how my archer doesn’t do good damage… yes, I know thank you, I have a self-made build and I thought it was good because I have had little to medium trouble with most acts.

Also I tried to look for a Xbox specific forum to post this but to no avail.
I really prefer to have this quest completed and receive my two skill points so I can attempt to make my character stronger. Thanks.
