Another question, can I integrate spectres to the build by using a rare elder helmet for 6-7L?

Edit: saw that covenant body, but do we have enough regen to sustain life? i dont want to be using life flasks when ever I cast SRS.

Is this better then scourge + Lyco?

Hi everyone! Just checking in here >_<. Due to school and IRL obligations, it's been tough to keep up and play PoE T_T. These days, when I have time, I try to play and experiment with a new character on Incursion + early works of a new guide~ I do try to read the messages on the forums and check in from time to time on the guide. I tried to go 6L Belly and I absolutely couldn't get 3 blue 3 red. I dumped 300 Chromes into it and didn't even come close. So I went with Skin of the Loyal, a lot easier to get 3B 3R or a white socket. Only problem is lack of life... I'm only lvl 73 at the moment, but at 4k life I feel super, super squishy. I find that if I Shield Charge into something to get the proc I just immediately get wrecked.

I'm tempted to go with a +3 staff and Kaom's just for the survivability.

Because it's trash and offers zero good things. All the bonuses from it can be gained through abyss jewels/regular jewels.

Let me reiterate what I put on the 3.3 Update: For those you don't want to deal with mana issues, The Covenant is a fantastic choice these days~ This allows you to free up a Flask Slot for another defensive (Basalt/Granite/Jade/Rumi's) flask. Your natural life regen + life flasks are more than enough to heal you if you properly invest into them (belt mod, proper flask rolls, gear, tree). If your gear is not to the point to be able to shield charge into packs without dying, you can use ball lightning as a ranged way to proc EE. Play it safe! (ie Don't play like me ;P)
