Each point of life is actually 3.78 HP (if your talent tree is like mine). So a little goes a long way. Upgrading say, boots that have 77 +Life (about 291 Health per my tree), to boots that have 100 +Life (about 378 Health) is only a difference of 23 Life on paper, but 87 Life in actuality.

Is this math actually correct? According to my PoB you have 178% inc life with your tree. That is 2.78 HP per 1 life. so 77 life = 214 HP and 100 life = 278 HP. That is a difference of 64 HP. This equals a increase in 23 on paper and 64 in reality. :D

Didn't do the calculation in PoB. Just unequipped my helm in standard and just did some ratios quickly. I was just trying to say a little goes a long way and provide some sort of example. Math was certainly never my forte. Apologies for any errors.

Just go a 6L - is Ruthless realy a thing as 6th gem? Maim wouldn't be better?
How do you get that high cast speed? Is it only from flesh offering with the necro ascendancy?

Btw, here is a tip for you, to cast desecrate, flesh offering and activate elemental equilibrium all in 1 button.

4L - Storm bust (LV1) - Flesh Offering - CWC - Desecrate

This will make your clear speed faster since you just have to cast storm bust to activate flesh offering and EE, also since we use storm bust to trigger EE you can trigger from long range and all directions, enemies dont have to be inside your circle (orb of storms)

And I am using convocation(lv1) on cwdt setup instead of enfeeble, so once you get hit it will summon your minions to your location this is very useful.

I am wondering if I can convert this build to a hybrid version, might be more safe than pure life based?

Hey Lake,

I have some suggestions for you.
1. Look over your passive tree. I would drop MoM for the mana and life node rigth of "Heart and soul". Drop the two strength passives to the south and go for "Cruel preparation" Life nodes. Also get "Elemental Equilibrium" Keystone.

2. since you have 22 hatred skill in amulet (the ideal is to have haste here) you should not link Haste in helmet with generosity. This lowers your own speed, making it harder to shield charge out of harms way and to keep SRS at 20 stacks.

3.Swap Vaal Lightning trap for Vaal Clarity.

4. Get Curse immune on Quicksilver flask!!! Without this you will be cursed in high tier maps with lots of mods and will result in a very weak char. This is a must.

5. Sell your lvl 20 Faster attacks, Increased Duration, Increased Cast speed, Fortify and Desecrate Gems with a GCP to vendor to get 20% Quality. This will quickly yeild a better gem.

6.Try and aim for close to 0% Chaos resistance (not always so easy) :)

7.Keep fortify up at all times

Hope it helps!

Hey rextar,
thanks a lot for your advices.
I tried to consider all of them. It feels much better now, especially in dealing damage.
I survive better now, allthough I just got 300 more HPs. Ich think the faster kill speed of my minions helps me to survive.

Hey guys, I am using this build with my character BigMarde. It is level 94 and I did the red Elder and all 4 shaper guardians on Softcore with it.

But the shaper kicked my ass in phase 3. I don't know if I just suck at avoiding damage or what?

I have only 6905 life, 114 ES and 461 unreserved mana, but I don't see how I could get much more?

Resists 92-90-101 and -10% chaos res.

I'd love some advice to improve my gear or build or jewels from the experienced people? My profile is public.

Thanks!

edit: nevermind this post, finally got the shaper. took some tweaks and practice but got it done today. Thanks for the nice build!

Hi I have a quick question, I am playing this build and I like it btw. Am I supposed to be auto attacking? With all of the skills I'm using it leaves no room for it on my bars.

Also, do the SRS retroactively get flesh offering buff if the buff is on me? Or do I have to recast it every time I summon more new ones?

Hi guys,

Returning player and found that my 2 IIQ gems were suddenly worth something :P

Sold them and bought the following gears, enjoying mapping (up to T6-9) right now...

Would be grateful for any advice on how to improve the build - I was able to open Apex of Sacrifice (to fight Atziri), but I wasn't able to kill it

Wanted to ask - What should I prioritize in upgrading my gear? I have about 7exa for use if need be

Here's my gear.. Thanks in advance!

Is this hardcore viable? If so what would you change if anything at all for hc?

If you look here, you can see how I set up my buttons: Atlas

Should not be Auto-Attacking, and aside from re-applying auras after death, those can be shuffled back as well. You can interchange the Vaal skills as needed.

Obviously what those keybind end up being/how they're laid out depends on how you like it. I've always liked LMB being Shield Charge and RMB being SRS.

As for Flesh Offering, you know I'm not 100% on it. I believe it does apply as a blanket to any minions present. As long as you're moving along, casting it on what you just killed and have a nice rolling wave of SRS for mapping it should be just fine.

Hope this helps!

Hello!

I'll get straight to my question before boring with info:
With the character I have now (SRSoketh), would switching things around to follow this build be better, worse or about the same as far as damage / defenses / speed?

The Scourge wouldn't be much to get, I have a 6 socket Belly I'm trying to 6 link, I think I'd need about 31 Regrets (that I have) to swap passives, and otherwise I only have about 150c or so to spend to get/craft the rares.

I'm asking because as much as I love the idea of SRS and keep trying to make one every league I play, I always end up not liking the characters. From mana issues, to having SRS feel slow with cast speed or Spell Echo, to having mapping feel slow/clunky (without movement speed plus with the delay before the skulls actually move/attack), to not having a lot of SRS specific gear to go for (I'm terrible for crafting rares). I tended to use other summons with SRS and eventually just play another character instead. Last time I tried Skeletons, this time I'm doing SRS/Zombies with The Baron. As much as I like Zombies for map clear with Slam insta-killing packs, their annoyingly ADD AI that causes them to stop attacking and come to me when I dodge attacks is getting frustrating. I want to either get rid of the Zombies and go pure SRS, or stick with The Baron and add in Spectres/Animate Guardian to just stand there and buff SRS.

I originally looked at this guide and was going to follow it before getting to level 40 or so. At that point my mind went "you know, you always switch from pure SRS to SRS + something else, might as well build with that something else in mind now". I've played for at least 3 leagues so far, so I'm not completely new to the game, but I'm far from experienced. I'm a noob when it comes to crafting, so I'm hoping even with badly crafted rares the build still works well enough, lol.

For anyone that has a look and offers opinions/advice, thanks a lot! Just someone a little above noob trying end-game content for the first time and figuring my current build won't cut it. I tried and failed horribly at Uber Atziri, though I expected I would, but how bad the character fared was really sad.
