Why ppl dont use frenzy charges on discharge builds?

Since the skill "Discharge all the character's charges to deal elemental damage to all nearby monsters.", so more charges used = more damage. And Elemental Equilibrium will work anyway to the other 2 elements.

Planning to do a Mjolner Discharge to use the 3 elements... Using the Cold per frenzy charge too.

help
Frenzy charges are the hardest to generate, and also you need to spend most your passive points in the str/int area that's why.

Ty, Sir. I understand now.

If the problem is only that is solved with https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Way_of_the_Poacher
To be exact, frenzy charges are the easiest to generate and maintain - via the Frenzy skill-gem, - but in an efficient Discharge build you want to spend as little time as possible doing something other than moving from pack-to-pack and discharging (Cast on X or self-cast). This means sources like power charge on crit, romiras, etc. The other problem is as krenderke says - most discharge builds sit on the Templar side of the tree, and you need to invest in +max charges.

NB: Discharge builds using all three types are called "rainbow nukes".

When selfcast discharge was playable for a league (prophecy) I did use frenzy charges from blood rage, however that was just because it had no cost whatever to keep them up, also frenzy charges used to increase the dmg you deal with spells and because I had cold to fire from the staff it made it usable, so it was good like that.

You can still run blood rage, but I don't think it will make a difference in your clearspeed.

Also frenzy charges give you the lowest badedmg/charge for discharge.

Ty very much Sir

Im learning about it

Still, seems pretty viable to get frenzy charges from https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Way_of_the_Poacher
Yeah, a raider-based discharge build would be very fast at mapping with focus on frenzy + 1 other charge type. It should work fine combined with blasphemy+warlord's to sustain from pack to pack. On the other hand, you might need an astramentis or similar to get Mjolnir's Strength + Int requirements starting from Ranger.

(EDIT: If you're starting from raider anyway, the other option is Cospri's Malice.)

Yes its the lowest...

But if the cost is supportable its higher damage anyway.

With Raider ascendent frenzy charge look so easy.
I wish you good luck, make sure to update us on how the build is going as it sounds to be a one of a kind thing, which is always nice to have.
