Strategy for new people struggling for currency.

I like how people who probably don't make 14 exalts in a year because they spend 90% of their ingame time id'ing and vendoring worthless rares or hoarding 1 alch uniques for their 17 alt's useless hipster builds are trashing this.

I like people who blindly follow what others say them to do like sheep without testing every possible playstyle and feasibility of it.

I'm ultra slow, and each league I can have any item I want, just because of identifying those 5-20ex items which others skip. So I keep having fun, instead of rushing like its my last day.

Not sure where all the hate for this post comes from. It isn't super detailed and it is a little extreme to not ID any rares whatsoever, nontheless the gyst of it is valid.

This guide pretty much follows the same principles and it is an efficient farming method if you don't want to flip, but actually play the game.

Or to use a poker analogy: This is a +EV strategy. A decent player should know one when he sees it. The point of the post is not to waste so much time with useless stuff like identifying, getting chaos recipes etc. etc. Profit/hour comes from speed.

I would not advice to just run any map with any mods though. In depth testing last league has shown me that good layout + maybe good map intrinsic drops (div cards, crafting bases) and a good roll (double packsize) net you much more per hour even if the initial investment is higher than just running any alched crap map.
Good advice to run meeps fast and not waste time with inventory tetris.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
I say, play and have fun. With time and experience, you will find your own way of making profit.

Following guides for everything, might start to feel like someone else is playing instead of you.
I found 5 biscos and gambled all of the earnings away trying to 6L an item that has no reason to be 6 linked and buying the perandus map. Am I doing it right?

I've played the game of Poker longer than most of you have been alive... probably longer than many of your parents.

I was there when the internet started.

I mean, it has always been a matter of fun. I don't see why you should do something that isn't fun for you. If we are talking about a build guide, I can understand you should follow it more or less in the same way, but these are just advices.
the best strategy is to enjoy the game ,and if the only thing you can think about is making that mullah - its when you need to take a step back and ask yourself - what am i playing for.

if you play due to addiction = bad
if you play to just make currency and stare at your meaningless pixels = bad
if you play with a goal in mind to reach and enjoy the way or put in work = good

imho the last thing new people struggling for should be currency , it should be a solid laid out build - learning mechanics and bossfights along with getting some NAHLEDGE on itembases itemlevels , combinations and proper mapping - currency comes last.

hell it took me weeks if not months to figure out how to play properly when i started and im still a 0 compared to the big dogs that have unlimited autism dedication to this game that i quite admire but refuse to put the same time in cause the game itself is hollow , and only your imagination and goals shape it.

Yea, and I have my doubt about how much those "big dogs" still enojoy the game. But anyway, if you enjoy making currency and stare at meaningless chaos orb pixels, I don't see the problem. I guess those pixel aren't meaningless tho. They represent the future power and improvement you can get for your build, your capacity to help your mates, etc.

Didn't know you were the professor on dictating others how to have fun. I only enjoy a game by trying to solve it. In Poe that is beating all content and maxing out my char in the most efficient way. So yes, I enjoy looking at my pixel moneys. If others enjoy it more to stumble around and do things slow, by all means. To each their own, but don't assume they are addicted or whatever because they do things different than you.
