Hi guys and gals. Just read a very interesting post on Reddit and wanted to share with all the new people struggling for some currency.
Credits to Reddit user "sixteenmiles". Sure it will help in some way.

Okay.
I am not rich by any means in this game, but my friends are all baffled by how much currency I seem able to make with the time I play. I work a full time job, I am away most weekends and in my off time I'm studying for a degree. At most I play for about 2 hours a day from 11:00pm-01:00am.
I've made about 14 exalts this league. I have ONE character at level 89. I was not in maps until day 5-6 of the league because I was playing with a friend who is brand new. I have not sold a single rare item that I picked up off the ground. I have not "bought low and sold high" on anything. I don't do the chaos recipe. I don't have time for any of that shit. That is money making strategy for people with hours to spare.
With such little time in the game you need to be super super efficient about getting shit done.
What I did:
Set up your stash like this:
Currency Tab - Quad Tab - Maps -> Everything Else
Alch a lot of maps. Prioritise the ones that you run well. I'm not even at shaped strands yet so I don't even mean the top tier shit, just alch all of your preferred maps. Jungle Valley, Beach, Oasis, Atoll, Mesa, etc. Fill your map tab with pre-rolled ready to go maps. If you don't like a map, don't keep it in your map tab. Put it somewhere else and vendor it up until it becomes a good map that you can run.
Run all of those maps. At the end of each map, drop all the currency you picked up into your currency tab and everything else into the Quad tab. This should take about 15 seconds, then grab your next map and go. Keep going until you have filled up the Quad tab.
When the Quad tab is full, do a quick sort through, wisdom scroll it all and look for upgrades, good items, whatever. It's probably all junk, vend it, but if you're lucky you get a chase unique to sell every now and then. Best thing I found so far is a Ngamahu Axe and I haven't bothered selling any rares aside from a few rings/amulets for like 3 chaos each.
Once the Quad tab is clear, keep running those maps.
So where did that 14 ex I spoke about earlier come from?
I picked it all up off the floor. 6-slot items converted into jewelers, converted into chaos, converted into exalts. Superior Gems converted into GCP, converted into chaos, converted into exalts. Chayula splinters converted into chaos, converted into exalts. Nearly all of it picked up off the ground.
Not even efficiently. When I have a tab filled with superior gems I picked up, I don't calculate the exact % to get maximum GCP return; I just slam them all in a vendor, take what I get and go. If jewellers are at a 10:1 ratio with chaos but the dude is asking 13:1, whatever, I do it so long as the transaction is quick and I get back to mapping asap. No time to haggle.
All the while my friends are standing around their hideout piecing together rings and Armor pieces to make 2 chaos, sorting their stash tabs; I've slammed out two more maps.
This strategy won't work for everyone, but for a guy with VERY little time to play, I'm already decked out in my shavs, united in dream, presence of chayula etc. and picking up pieces for my next build. It works for me.

So basically its a summary of utilizing a dump tab?
A more efficient method would be like "picking up white jewelry to alch, and dumping it into a b/o 1 chaos tab". Where you invest 1 alch to make 3-4x profit. (Which this is well known already lol, but more of a "How to obtain startup capital" rather than "Sift your dump tab for something valuable")
I mean there is so many holes in this method too. "Dont like a map? Vendor it up to something better" Why would you spend an Alch on a map, and then vendor it up. Wasted currency.
PS. Most of all the methods this post cleared (like buying low flipping high, chaos recipe, not puttin things for sale, etc) are literally all methods for people who have limited time.

I'm pretty sure he meant alch only your preferred maps. Anyway I have doubts if the chaos recipe worth the time it takes.

I've played the game of Poker longer than most of you have been alive... probably longer than many of your parents.
I was there when the internet started.
People would come on "UseNet" and post stuff about poker in a group called rec.gambling.poker.
There were lots of posts like this where people posted bullshit trying to get people to waste their time and money on stupid strategies that had no basis in fact or statistics. It was quite common. People even wrote and published books on poker that mislead anyone who read them into losing their money to smarter players and/or casinos.
Don't buy into it. This is not how to make 14 exalts in a month.

So like, race through all maps like a chicken with its head cut off and the fuck with having any fun. It's race maps till you burn out from fatigue. But what the hell, you got 14 exalts this league already. In the the words of Archie Bunker "whoop dee do!". If that's your idea of how to have fun playing PoE (or any arpg) then good for you. For me the "fun factor" is all in the builds and now that I got my 2 BFFL to play 3.0 it's party playing as a trio. Screw the fact that we don't make 350 million XP per hour or X amount of xyz currency per hour. We're still having fun. When the whole point of playing PoE becomes "how much game currency you can make per hour" then it's time to hang it up and quit. Remember that this is all "Monopoly" currency and all it takes is one hacker to lose it all. I sure hope GGG keeps great database backups so a hacker can't wipe everything away.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

It's not the fastest or most efficient way, but at the current price of exalts, yes this will easily net you 14 exalts in a month. Way more if you can play more than 2 hours a day like the reddit user from the OP. You literally only need ~35 six-socket drops per exalt.
You make my ochinchin go doki doki.

Stupid strategy for you maybe. You should respect other opinions. Don't feel so special.

The key is to have fun, I agree. If someone get fun from winning currency and buying better gear and being more powerful, it's very good too. If you don't get fun, then it's simple, just don't do this strategy. Nobody is forced to do this.

I like how people who probably don't make 14 exalts in a year because they spend 90% of their ingame time id'ing and vendoring worthless rares or hoarding 1 alch uniques for their 17 alt's useless hipster builds are trashing this.

Man is it good you set your profile to private before leaving that comment.
Common sense can very easily tell you that this entire post is bullshit.
