Does equipment's increase rarity applies to my minions and totems? Or only to spells cast by my myself?

what do you mean by rarity? are you talking about quality? because the 2 things are totally different.

rarity is refering to the amount of prefixes and suffix a gear can have, going from white having 0 of both, magical having 1 of each, and rare having 3 of each and then unique having their own specific sets.

quality will increase the base stats of the gear, if its armor then it'll increase the base defense stats. if its a weapon it'll increase the physical damage. in either cases it does not affect the modifications that are on the item.

and in both cases this does not have any affect to minions or totems because theres nothing to affect them.

again, your question is utter nonsense, please rephrase it if you truly want a true answer

He's talking about IIQ/IIR, dude. Relax.

I think he wants to know if the mod on his gear that increases rarity of items, is applied if his minion or totem kills a monster. So the reason for your little rant, Mr. DrakenDragon, is a mystery to me.

Rather than go on tirade about how you know so much more about the game then someone else, how about you just help the guy, eh? Besides, all you really did in that post was spout info that had no usefulness here, and which is slightly incorrect.

Equipment bonuses to IIR/IIQ do not work with minions, as far as I'm aware. The only way to increase IIR/IIQ on them is with the support gem. I really don't know about the totems, though. I'd say they're in the same boat as minions, but they do follow different rules.

Kills by your minions count as kills by you, so your IIQ/IIR from your gear applies (this is also why you get flask charges).

It applies to minion/totem kills as well.
