Instant-leech mechanics
Hey guys,
i got a question about the instant-leech mechanics in PoE For example: You got 7k hp. Your instant leech per second is 13k. Now you allocate Cloaked in Savagery and your instant leech per second climbs up to 178k (that's like 25 times your hp-pool...whaaaat?!) If you pick a raider or any other char with a few "0.4% of attack damage leeched as life"-nodes, then you got something about 10.5k instant leech per seconds (still much higher than your actual hp-pool). Could you tell me now any advantage of playing a Berserker with Cloaked in Savagery (100% of damage leeched as life)? Last bumped on Aug 31, 2017, 12:47:21 PM

I take a 7k hit, 600 life remaining, my barrage deals 4000 avg dmg per arrow fired, so I get back to 100% in 0.2 sec with cloak, and otherwise with let's say 4% leech it would take around 4 full barrage to finish (10 arrow each), which is around 0.5-1 sec to finish (depending on your AS), in the meantime you can take an other bullshit hit and die.
So all that matters if how much you can leech in a fraction of a second, not the per second thing, could have a build that hits once per sec, has 150k leech/sec, but can be 2shotted for a whole second. Last edited by krenderke#3861 on Aug 31, 2017, 12:22:41 PM
