[3.4] 770k+ (540k+ Shaper) Sunder Gladiator (Budget friendly!) (Fully updated) (Herald of Purity!)

Hello guys and gals,

welcome to my Sunder Build.

3.4 HYPE INFOS
Sunder, why is something I do not understand, got a small nerf but that doesn't affect us really that much. We need to be a bit more near to the enemy which doesn't hurt at all, as being in the middle of everything gives us the biggest damage as sunder can hit much more. The AoE decrease is a bit annoying but since we have a high attack speed I doubt hard that we will notice that much. The damage is the very same and thus, if you beat uber elder before, you can still do it!

The only thing that hit us is the block change. We lose 10% spell block chance, because of the useless new block change. I will take a deeper look into it. Currently with my example shit gear we still hit 60% block/spell block which is fairly good and should not affect us that much. With elder/shaper gear it's probably counterable if you want to keep the old block values.

For the moment the tree is exactly the same as before. Therefore the guide stays as it is and is still EVERYTHING viable, with proper investment that is. Please keep in mind that this is still meant to be a mapping char, with options to bosskill, not a pure bosskiller/facetanker char.

Guide Start

At the moment I am killing T15 maps in which I mostly only die because I react to slow. I could not yet test any Guardians, Shaper or Uber Atziri as I never got any of the maps for them.

Pros:
1. Fast Attacker
2. Easy to play
3. 60% Block and Spellblock

Cons:
1. Can't do physical reflect maps
2. Have to turn off Hatred for elemental reflect maps
3. Can't do no leech maps

How does this build work?

Sunder is a "Melee" Skill with a range, which makes it a lot easier to evade everything that is being thrown at us. We are playing on a dual wield. As Sunder only uses the main hand for attacking, we can use the offhand for a supporting weapon.

So all we do is: 1. Get in range of the enemy, hold right mousebutton and watch stuff die.
If anything is thrown at us, just use whirling blades to evade stuff and keep fortify alive.

What gear is mandatory?
Really mandatory is nothing. You can fully play the build with 2 rares to get some currency BUT the build is so budget friendly that you will be able to buy your endgame items that bring you to t15 for less than you'd even imagine.

But I suggest the following uniques to make life easier:

Depending on the starter price, take either Jack, the Axe or Soul Taker as the main weapon.
Soul Taker is preferred because it is stronger then Jack but mostly costs up to 50% more than Jack.

Prismatic Eclipse: This is our Offhand weapon with 3 green sockets to trigger its modifier of "12%
increased attack speed for each green socket" this is the strongest way this weapon can support us with whooping 36% more attackspeed.

Kaom's Roots: Stun immunity, freeze immunity, can't be slowed under standard movement speed an lots of life. Nothing else needed.

Old League Gear (Harbinger League) IGNORE THE SOCKETS AND GEMS ON THOSE EXAMPLE ITEMS:

A few words: I used a crappy 5l (still t15 viable!!) and Jack, the Axe until recently. I found a cheap whooping 1747 Armour corrupted Astral Plate for 80 Chaos and got a nice 381 physical DPS axe for 140 chaos. Those are not needed but make your life easier. You can EASILY farm currency until you upgrade to a rare axe + 6L Astral Plate. As we need only 1 blue socket, even corrupted crafting is CHEAP as hell. 1 Blue socket costs 4 Chromatic + 4 Vaal Orbs

Gems and Links:
All in Order of importance

1. Sunder Setup: Sunder + Melee Physical Damage + Multistrike + Ruthless + Maim + Concentrated Effect

2. Whirling Blades: Whirling Blades + Faster Attacks + Fortify + Blood Magic

3. Ancestral Warchief: Ancestral Warchief + Melee Physical Damage + Bloodlust + Concentrated Effect

4. Utility 1 (In Axe): Cast when Damage Taken Level 1 + Enfeeble Level 5 + Leap Slam

5. Utility 2 in Offhand: Arctic Armor + Hatred + Blood Rage

OPTIONAL instead of 4 and 5 if you want more damage. This will sacrifice Enfeeble and Arctic armore for more damage and possible less aggro thanks to minions!

4. Utility 1 (In Axe): Herald of Purity + Faster Attacks + Leap Slam

5. Utility 2 in Offhand: Portal + Hatred + Blood Rage

This setup grants us, with my example crap gear, almost 50k more damage and that without the minions in mind.
Those will add even more damage and function as a distraction for enemies.

1. Map Clearing - No Ancestral Warchief out
581.361,3 DPS
2. Single Target Bosses like Atziri (DPS includes their resistances so the numbers are lower)
557.764,3
3. Bosses sourrounded by adds or 2 bosses next to each other
709.181,4
4. Shaper/Guardians
538.356,2

@AkumaNoTsubasa this is hands down the best guide every created for any build I've ever seen. Love how you incorporated colors with gems and have the multiple skill tree's for leveling. Everyone should take note of this when creating a build guide. Great job!

I want to support you
Thanks for asking how to support as a thanks, I REALLY appreciate that! But I can't have paypal so I am totally out of luck with that. But if you really want to support me, I'd gladly welcome some stuff to test builds or just to have fun (I really don't care if that is in a current league or just standard).
Even though I don't think this will ever happen.
Builds I would currently like to do (but would never ever be able to afford) are the following:
1. LL RF ES Occultist
2. some facetank everything cast when damage taken spell inferno char

Thanks. nice to hear :)

At first I went to Resolute Technique so I never miss a hit, then I went to the Axe cluster on the left side and the Lifewheel and took what ever I needed most in that situation. After you got those you can max out the duelist area.

For the answer, let me quote the description of Sunder:
"
Requires a Mace, Axe, or Staff.
