How to join/create party?

Hi,

I just started playing PoE on Xbox 1 (I have never played the PC Version)

I do not have a subscription to Xbox Live, is it still possible for me to join/create a party and play with other players?

If so, how do I achieve this?

Invite people normally through xbox then it will show them in your group on the left side of the screen. Then when you join the same areas you can play together.

I am not sure on needing xbox live gold to play multiplayer but I would assume you do need it I know me and my friend have it. Hope that helps.
