Green Border Items

Hey all, new player here on the XB1. Just a quick question. I have just just found a Normal (white) Long Staff but it has a green border. This is the first time I have come across a item with a green border. Any idea what this indicates? Is it worth picking up?

A green border means the item has sockets of all three colors linked together. You can sell these kinds of items to vendors for Chromatic orbs, which can be traded for other currency like Chaos orbs at pretty decent rates. I usually do pick them up.
Thanks for the heads up. Greatly appreciated.
Depends on your item filter. You should read up on what your item filter is trying to tell you. Neversink's uses the green boarder to highlight those items that people like to Chance.
Thanks, but XB1 currently has no loot filters. :)
It's going to get really annoying quite shortly if we don't separate the Xbox people from the PC in the forums. Really annoying.
I agree.
I find the easiest way to distinguish whether or not the poster is referring to the Xbone version or the PC version is to read their post... It's the eighth word in the first sentence.

It's ok to just not say things. You can continue browsing the forums even if you don't reply to every thread you click on.
pick up every 3 color link item you see, as well as every single 6 socket item for vendor.

your going to need hundreds of jeweller's orbs, chromatic, and fuse orbs...thousands if you want a 6link. start hoarding now.

other than that, superior skill gems and flasks are good to pick up, selling multiple quality gems yield a gemcutter's prism which is super important, and flasks yield a bauble which helps for endgame flasks.

google up POE vendor recipe...there are tons of ways to get items via the vendor you might find useful, as well as undiscovered (?) recipes
just for try, for see and for know

Wise words indeed.
