Bowplar build? wiithout EB? (HC)

Gonna keep it short. why do the bow templar builds i have seen rely on Eldritch Battery ? do you really need all that mana? what about something along these lines:


as you see here what about heading more toward bow and dex nodes, with a lot of strength and life along the way? generally work toward the center and then into ranger area of passives.
