An End to Hunger,Quest not Completed

I Killed Kitava (rather my golems did) while i was dead, but i was in the area the hole time. Now the quest isn't completed.

Update: I tried it again and stayed alive this time. After Kitava's death i wasn't teleportet into the epilogue, but i was able to go back to town and access it manually.
