Because of the passive spiritual aid, all increases and reductions in minion damage also apply to us :)

Occultist is fine , ES just got a little bit harder to build .

Trickster should be a little faster on the clear , but Occultist should have more endgame damage .

i would break it down like this :

life base Occ or hybrid trickster always work . gear requirement = 0 .

CI Occ is a bit harder to build then it was before .

Low Life Occ can be your endgame goal for massiv damage but it needs lots of gear .



i went with life based Occ , i just love the very curse invested playstlye and CI felt a little dangerous after the nerfs .
If you are looking for the easiest FOTM setup it would be hybrid Trickster i guess .


Whatever you choose ED/Cont just annihilates the legion stuff and bane as a 2nd dmg source feels good since they buffed the life of rare mobs .

With the league mechanic of legion, I would recommend keeping the Area cluster just above the Witch. I tried removing it and clearing some legion packs the AOE of contagion was too small.
Also, profane bloom could cause issues with clearing large legion packs, may need to skip that and go with 2 curses only and Forbidden Power as 4th ascendency.

I played this build last league and didn't go the 3 curse because of Profane Bloom and Contagion, and it worked just fine, cleared all content easily. I chose to leave out Enfeeble and just use Despair/Temp Chains

Ok so I just crafted this chest with just few alts and 1 regal:



Nothing awesome but really good for starting chest so I decided to go CI right after entering maps. Bough rest of the gear for like 2-3c each piece (missing ring, amulet and few other things) and I ended with 5k ES. My tree also need fixing but run out of regrets so gonna do this later.

And even with only 5k ES feels kinda ok. Have to be carefull and dash alot but overall I dont regret switching so early.

Now have to farm currency for the 6L bow and I can switch from wands.
