Convert chaos to exalted?

Considering that Exalts are about 34-38 chaos each right now (according to poe.trade and poe.ninja), should I be trying to convert chaos to exalted for when the currency begins to rise in value? I remember in Legacy when Exalts were getting up to 90 chaos each.
Are there any guidelines you guys go by for converting currency? Should I be trying to amass Exalts by trading my chaos? Or should I just let my chaos sit there for immediate use? Thanks! Last bumped on Aug 14, 2017, 8:24:03 AM

Just a warning that the economy has shifted. Zana mods are no longer crap, which adds back in a huge chaos sink to the game. The %ES craft on jewelry is no longer available, which removes an exalt sink from the game. I do expect exalts to rise, I do not expect them to reach 100c.

exalts are worth it at the current prices for mastermodding items, if you don't plan on it, be carefull, viperesque raised some very good points about exalts current values.

if you play the currency flip game . it is an interesting time to do it in. that being said chaos are so much more useful than exa for day to day operations
several of my guildies routinely try to start perandus / beyond or breach mapping rotations there are quite a few challenges floating around that get significantly easier to do by spamming the zana mods. especially the breach related ones since breach is pretty rare in the grand scheme of things. |
