Dual Claw Duelist Build

I'm not worried about testing my build in hardcore. I'' do that eventually. But if i concentrate and pay attention to what im doing its possible to clear maps soloing without dieing. It just requires intelligent maneuvers and proper use of whirling blades. With whirling blades you can make it so only a few mobs can hit you at a time (including ranged / caster). Then while your spamming whirling blades if your attack speed is high enough you mix in attacks of dual striek with lightning strike.

If done right its highly effective.
Some upgrades on gear.

update on passive skill tree

With 3 endurance charges new gear and a granite flask i have a total amount of 75% physical reduction with 14% chance to dodge 15% chance to block and around 27ish % life leech to physical. I am currently dealing about 4400 dps single target and due to a 3link instead of 4link my aoe has dereased from 1400 dps to 1100 dps. I am farming merciless fairly easily, i still have trouble with the docks. The mobs in packs are simply too difficult for my measly 2198 health to handle.

Edit: Currently running enfeeble curse too. Forgot to mention that.

Level 100 Passive skill tree

With some major priorities on survivability over damage nodes.

upgraded a claw.

Spoiler

Here is a video example of how my typical runs go in merciless at fellshire.

you posted a video where you "farm" with single target attack (Dual Strike).

Farm and single target don't go well together.

Farming means killing mobs quickly, meaning AoE...

It seems very very inefficient from the video.

As a side note, if you make a video please refrain from whispering. It's not fun skipping because I see you whispering... many times.
Thanks for your opinion much appreciated thanks for the insight too. If i had a toon to farm with i would use one this is all i have.

But it would be nice if you gave some constructive feedback. Ya know, like why is it inefficient? What could make it better? Just saying.

Alright. So i started running maps but im not going to solo them just yet. My resists aren't capped and i only have 2200 health. Maps are hard and right now a serious problem for my build since im afraid to even farm the docks right now.

But i am not useless in a party!

I have changed my specs for parties and even my gear. Instead of running wrath + hatred like i would solo, i only run hatred. Or sometimes purity. I found a 10% quality enfeeble (ever since i got recomended to use enfeeble i have loved the outcome. Also, i found increased duration and can now cast a spell totem that summons skeletons with culling strike.

So when i play maps with my clan atlas gaming. I basically just spam enfeeble with my totem tanking for anyone who needs help tanking and killing mobs with culling strike. Than when a rare pops own i whirling blade in pop some granite flasks (i run with 2 now) and cast enduring strike. I still deal 4k dps single target and with the life leech and all the armor + 3 endurance charges i am able to tank (for a short period of time) in maps.

When i am in parties even if farming the docks this is how i play. I use my totem when needed, cast enfeeble. THen charge into the middle of battle sniping rares while popping granite flasks.

I am using that helm in parties.

While i will use this helm solo. As soon as i 4link it, also the 4th blue is going to be increased critical strikes.

In parties i never use blood rage. and i try to avoid using any flasks unless i am sniping rares. I mostly just sit back and help people kill stuff with auras and curses. Then when the time comes, i use whirling blades and help snipe down rares. It is also possible to play the solo mode and party mode at same time. Like sit back casting curses and using your spell totem, the nquickly changing auras and whirling blading in to snipe down rares, then change auras back and return to being support.

I feel like this is a fun build to play. I am highly enjoying playing this build and i hope other people give it a try. Everytime i make a new char and try something else i get bored and just go back to this duelist.

But in solo, your basically changing to your dps aoe build. Instead of support/snipe build. In the dps aoe build you spam whirling blades with lightning strike combination until mobs are weakened enough to one shot them all with dual strike. That is simply the fastest way to clear maps if you are farming, if you can come up with a faster way. I would LOVE to hear it.

Hello! I'm new to this game and had in mind a very similar build but instead of using the dual strike skill as main weapon I would use the projectiles of my lightning strike to kill massive amounts of monsters fast (or at least that's the plan). This is my build:

looks legit.

Thats if your a troll, if your serious you have many problems with your tree. Try to focus on one weapon in your passives and one weapon only. Stray away from using multiple weapons because later on in the game they will not improve your ability to survive or kill. Also, you don't want useless passives because later on in the game they will never be used and unless you play to have 100 regrets at all times to respec then its simply not a good idea. You can change weapons or skills and switch out gear and so on and so forth but passives usually stay pernament.

If you wanna use those weapons in the game at the beginning then start out getting passives that affect everything globally instead of many different independant passives. THis way you still get an benefit in the end-game build.
