[3.0] Trickster Poison Cyclone/Viper Strike (Life/MoM/PhaseAcro) Budget

I'm following this build, currently 50 something in the middle of Act 5. Defintely had some issues due to poor gear, so I'm really trying to push to 60 till I can equip my dual claws and dendrobate.

I find my cyclone dps to not be great currently. I'm cycloning through monster packs in Act five 3-4+ times before they die. Might be the fact that poison isn't always applying on hit, or maybe the poison dps is just too low since I had to spend 18 skill points heading all the way over to MoM, so I cant pick up more damage nodes anytime soon.

I'm going to try to refrain from judging the setup until after 60 when I can have some better stuff equipped.

Yeah, leveling 50-60 is very awkward from my recent experience, just hit 62 and managed to 6L my Dendrobate and facerolled Merc Lab.

Hit 60, things feel a lot better for me now. I am starving for some skill points ...

I switched up the Cyclone setup in the gloves and replaced Unbound Ailments with Swift Afflication. My reasoning was if I'm cycloning trash, I want it to die faster. And any big guys left will get the viper strike spam. Thoughts on this? Am I losing a crazy amount of dps running it like this?

Honestly, I'm just now level 70, had to take the entire weekend off to do stuff IRL right after posting the initial theorycraft, ended up switching the Viper Strike 6L out for a Cyclone 6L instead of running that in a 4L and its more than enough for T6+ maps.

Kraityn is nobrainer for this build.

Kraityn is actually only barely better for the build than 2 points are, especially while leveling. Though I've recently dropped MoM and will update the tree tomorrow sometime with one that should be much easier to level with.

How do you fare against monsters that Resist Chaos? Kitava for example

I switched to using only Viper Strike around level 75 and have absolutely no issues with chaos resistant monsters including bosses through T10 maps, it only means you need slightly more time to build some poisons before you let them degen for five seconds and die. Cyclone is better for leveling because you don't need to worry about mana regen with a Tabula 6L, but Viper Strike is much better once you start mapping.

I'm currently following this build and have just reached 51, so got access to the Embalmer. It was a nice boost to get a pseudo 5-link that way :)

But to my question, which Pantheons would you recommend or do you think that's up to each player to decide?
